Remarks :
IITs offer amazing culture and student base including people from all around India. This not only helps in developing your technical skills but your personality as an individual. I opted for CS because I was interested in graphics from the beginning and wanted to prepare the base required to get in that field.
Course Curriculum Overview :
A compulsory internship in the third year in the corresponding core branch provided enough exposure required to decide the career. Computer science faculties were good and chill. The best faculty, who was also my mentor in the final year project was Dr Abhinav Dhall. He's famous, you can search him on google.
Internships Opportunities :
I worked as a web developer in Unilog Corp in Bangalore. The work hours were Flexible and the stipend was 80000
Placement Experience :
Huge companies like Microsoft, amazon, GS and many more come to offer internships and jobs. The Alumni network in huge and every couple of months Alumni from different sectors hold meetings and talks with students to provide them with valuable information. The placement process is fluid and the placement cell works hard to make sure maximum number of the students get placed.
College Events :
The college conducts 2 fests each year, the cultural fest and the technical fest. They are huge and great artists like Hardy Sandhu, Vishal Shekhar, Euphoria, Alfaaz, Mohit Chauhan and many more. Students and teams from all over India Come to participate in the events.
Campus Life :
There was unlimited high speed WiFi available everything. The campus was huge and each department has it's own building. There's a huge library containing all the books related to all the subjects that are being taught at the college. High quality and state of the art equipment are available. There are well build grounds and courts in the campus. The infrastructure is mesmerizing.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are well build and huge. you don't have to go to a PG. Hostel fees is 100 Rs per semester (yes, 100 INR). Quality Bebs, cupboards, tables and chairs are provided. Rooms are in sharing for the first and second year students and single for the third and final year students.
