Course Curriculum Overview :

Civil engineering was good , but lack of faculty members , and lab equipments , More facultyembers would be great . Teaching and practical can be done so that it can be more effective Exams are conducted regularly and depending on the exams difficulty level is moderately high

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships at DRDO, IISC Bangalore, ONGC,TATA,NEEPCO, IITs,PWDs,NHAI,etc Different work roles trainings , site jobs,research work , etc Internships are almost unpaid to teach real life conditions site situations etc

Placement Experience :

Placement is there but very poor 40/500 students Tata, vedanta, oil India , GR infra , SRIJAN,PRADAN,sales companies a fiew Max package is 9 LPA and lowestbis 2.16 LPA Around 10/12% students gets placememt

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No tution fees are not charged but there are union fees , fest charges etc lumpsum extra expenses in a year including everything expense is about 47000 INR No other support from institute ,for loan institute can verify . No other things

Campus Life :

Cultural fest is RACAF 3days program good program , local artists , participated by institute students , block competition Sports fest is SYNERGY 3days sports program all kinds of sports are included and played . Technical fest is SRISTI 3 days program here innovation , technology robo war etc are done Foot ball fieldbis there GYM, Basket ball court, Balley ball , Badminton court , etc Music club, is there etc

Hostel Facilities :

Food not so good BF: bread, tea, / chowmin ,tea/ Puri chola,tea/ etc Lunch : Rice ,seasonal veg , dal Dinner: 4days chiken / paneer &3days egg Hostel is mandatory easily available and affordable enough PG is available in locality

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

There are 4 forms of entry , these exams are NEE1,NEE2,NEE3 and JEE Mains . NEE1 is for Students after matriculation (base+ btech) NEE2 is for 12th pass out NEE3 is for lateral entry ie Diploma pass out . Entrance exams are conducted every year in the month of June/ July , forms are available in NERIST.ac.in Reservation is same as other Central University ,+ Another form of reservation north east states &AIQ equally divided Exam is moderately tough . In admission it is good improvements are taking place

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is average, as the location is remote only a limited number of companies visit for placement. - From seventh sem students become eligible for campus placements. - The highest package offered till now for on campus is 19lpa by C-Dot and average package is 8lpa. - Students getting placed differs from branch to branch , in cse almost every students gets placed who are eligible. - Also i am planning for M.tech if i do not get a good placement.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh - An Honest Overview

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placements if they dont have a backlog as many companies do not allow arrays in the semester. The companies visited are Deloitte , Alstom , HCL , TCS etc. Almost 100 percent students are placed in my college I would join an MNC after getting a degree

The placements are good so far and every year at least 80% of students get placed and the companies that come to give placements are mostly core companies. The average package every year is 8LPA. So I do have a plan to sit on placement.

Remarks:

It is the best technical College in our state and the course I took was good for developments in our state as it is an agriculture based state. Students from various parts of North East come here through entrance. Seats are there for all India students too.So NERIST is full of diversity in culture,caste and race.It provides B.tech,B.sc,MBA, M.tech,M.sc,P.hd program.The course I took was Agricultural Engineering.It was a much needed course in our state which directly depended its economy in agriculture.
