I rated this Institution 3.9 out of 5 1. Infrastructure - 3.0 because buildings are too old and need to repair as fast as can possible. 2. Academics- 8.0 out of 10 because need some faculty Improvement Programme

Course Curriculum Overview :

This Institution is a well established Institute approved by MHRD,govt of India. The course structure is good as compared to other engineering Institution. There are all types of labs, Workshops available in the Institution Building.

Placement Experience :

In this Institution placement is average.Beacuse this University is on a backward area. But by now placement offer by the Institute is increase. Many govt. And Private companies offer job opportunities here.

College Events :

There are many events are celebrated here because Nerist is a Institute of 8 North Eastern states. The freserrs meet are celebrated Institute cultural meet called Racaf. Sports week called Synergy One Memorial football game called Tadar ichu celebrated Science model show called Shrishti Etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For under graduate student admission fess is nearly about 4 to 5 thousands and the Hostel fees is 14500 to 15000 and this is for one semester means 6 months. And there are no extra fees are taken by any departments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There a Scholarship programme by AP govt. For only ST candidates only. And there are no scholarship or other facilities for general students for UG.In PG i think there a Scholarship programme for all students

Campus Life :

There are One Gymkhana for Boys students and one for girls. In everyhostel there are Table tennis courts and other sports activities. GYMAKHANA provide here are all sports things like Football. Badminton Racket Etc. A New huge lab workshops building are made in Degree block side here. Overall I rated 3.9 rating out of 5 for workshops

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room's are well maintained. I rated 3 out of 5 for the Infrastructure quality. For food 3.9 out of 5, this is for UG hostels and for Base students there a one another fressrs hostel here I rated 4.5 rating. The fees is 14.5K in per 6 months

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our Nerist is fully ragging free and seniors of here are very very helpfull. There are one antiragging forum also here.In any problems the seniors are helps us. They also helped us in our course.

Admission :

First I applied for written exam then I appeared and then I am selected and counseling held then I selected Electrical engineering branch of 6 years btech course.Now here my 1 semester ends and second semester is running

Faculty :

The faculty of this college is well knowledged and highly experienced. Most of them are Phd. And gate qualified faculties. And In all departments here are different HOD's and under them all the facilities teach the students.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is average, as the location is remote only a limited number of companies visit for placement. - From seventh sem students become eligible for campus placements. - The highest package offered till now for on campus is 19lpa by C-Dot and average package is 8lpa. - Students getting placed differs from branch to branch , in cse almost every students gets placed who are eligible. - Also i am planning for M.tech if i do not get a good placement.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh - An Honest Overview

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placements if they dont have a backlog as many companies do not allow arrays in the semester. The companies visited are Deloitte , Alstom , HCL , TCS etc. Almost 100 percent students are placed in my college I would join an MNC after getting a degree

Remarks:

It is the best technical College in our state and the course I took was good for developments in our state as it is an agriculture based state. Students from various parts of North East come here through entrance. Seats are there for all India students too.So NERIST is full of diversity in culture,caste and race.It provides B.tech,B.sc,MBA, M.tech,M.sc,P.hd program.The course I took was Agricultural Engineering.It was a much needed course in our state which directly depended its economy in agriculture.
