  • Bad placements, though started this year it is less and have to look out for yourself outside the campus.
  • Faculty at times are slightly incompetent so feels like you need to study from YouTube

Course Curriculum Overview :

The first semester is quite annoying as you enter a new field completely. But then from the second semester becomes some what easier but I still have more to see. Some teachers are good while others are useless according to me that is.

Internships Opportunities :

There were no intership opportunities untill this year because some students had family background while others wanted to pursue higher studies this very few students remained out of which only few were competent thus this year we saw about 6 of our senior get placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for my couse is pricy that so almost 5 lakh per ammun plus the course requires a lot of investment to it. But there are methods of getting scholarship such as getting high gpa or applying outside to government websites. This year we just started placements.

Campus Life :

The campus is lush and green and is quite large. But the issue is majority is forest land thus nothing can be built on it. The peers are friendly but majority feel undeserving of the place becouse they came through their reservations.

Hostel Facilities :

The first years get a tiny room that of size of a toilet which has to accommodate two people. The cleaning happens on time for corridors but rarely for rooms. From 3rd year onwards you do get single rooms but again the hostels become more cranky.

Admission :

My rank in jee was 1400 and luckily I got the last seat in the college through general quota of csab. We were then asked to do fisical reporting to college for document verification. After which room and stuff were allotted to us. The jee exam was quite challenging but also fun.

Placement Experience:

BIT Mesra boasts robust placement opportunities, commencing from the sixth semester. Renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture visit, offering diverse roles in IT, consulting, and core engineering. The highest package offered reaches ?20 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?6-8 LPA. Around 85-90% of students secure placements annually. Post-degree, I aim to pursue a career in architectural design, aiming for roles in reputed firms to apply my skills and contribute to innovative projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The focus of the faculty is on development of the student's creativity. As the semesters pass the contraints on the design assignment increases gradually making a good result at the end of the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is an application based course here you learn through practically given tasks and you are supposed to clear it. Overall it is a good course if you are hardworking and interested in construction. Keep in mind that not everything will be fed to you. You are supposed to learn as much as possible from your side as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically, I am the kind of person dedicated to building and going for the design field. senior faculty are amazing and have good experience and technical skills which are very beneficial. For the design process, we generally get from faculty and also little competition is generated which is beneficial. talking about placement we generally get the link that are used, senior and faculty help to get placement and internship too

Remarks:

The college has a very reputation in Jharkhand. It stands between 20 to 30 rank in all over India for best engineering colleges. And in Architecture it stands 5 th in all over India. It has a very clean and natural environment. But hostels are very far from main building.
