Remarks :

The college has a very reputation in Jharkhand. It stands between 20 to 30 rank in all over India for best engineering colleges. And in Architecture it stands 5 th in all over India. It has a very clean and natural environment. But hostels are very far from main building.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum keeps you involved in your course stream, so there are regular class tests and mid-sems exam and finally end semester exam. The class test comprises of 10 marks that happens 2 times per semester. Mid- semester comprises of 25 marks, which starts in the 2 nd month of each semester and finally end- semester of 60 marks and the rest 5 marks is given by teacher for attendance or assignment.

Placement Experience :

Placements are really good. Package starts from 3 lakh and ends in 15 lakh. There is 90% placements. Average placement is 7 lakh. Best placement in this college is for computer science branch which is better than some of the great IITs. No our college doesn't provide internship but our final semester is based on the performance of internship that we do.

College Events :

Pantheon, Bitotsav are the 2 great festival in our college where many types of events and competition are held. Some of them like video editing, ankering, science and math quiz, singing , dancing as well as music. etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its expensive and is little greater than in IITs. Per semester fee varies from 110000 to 140000. And in 5 years almost its crosses 15 lakh including mess fee charge. The mess fee charge is 17000 which is feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

E- kalyan is provided by the college for low cast people having very less family income. So that poor student can afford to study here. There is also 50% off on first 2 semesters if GPA is above 8.5.

Campus Life :

Sports is really competitive in our college. There are stadium available and each and every sport is available. 2 badminton courts( indoor). 3 basketball courts 2 football grounds and 2 valley ball courts available and also running track of 400 meters is there.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure stands 2 nd in all over India after BITS PILANI in Rajasthan. There is free unlimited wifi available for student which is achieved by their id and password. Also LAN system is provided in each room. Single room is provided for a student and the food quality is one of the best in hostels of India. 4 times serving of food per day which is done in a large dining hall.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are helpful . They conduct and organise events and also helps when in need. Like Pantheon and Bitotsav arrangements are done by seniors and FAS students in our college. Alumni gives us knowledge and how they settled and got placement, by coming in Alumni meet which is held every year.

Admission :

Through jee mains paper-2 Architecture. The opening rank is 600 and closing rank is 4500. And also class 12 marks should be above 75% . And admission is done through josaa counseling. I got all over India rank in architecture jee mains paper-2 of 2342 and got admit through josaa counseling.

Faculty :

Its fairly good, professor takes care of the students for good academic performance. But sometimes they do partiality to students for their gender or behaviour. They focus on syllabus and their practical impacts to make the subject interesting.

Archi of BiT mesra

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is realky a new thjng for architecture department before we had to apply by own but now new placement cell is being made but last year also they would areange for. Placement and most of them are placed from here and interenship oppurtunities are also good As per pacakges 12 lakhs a year was highest ig last year but not very sure and average is like 7-8 lakhs since junior architects dont earn much so

Overall experience at BIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

The focus of the faculty is on development of the student's creativity. As the semesters pass the contraints on the design assignment increases gradually making a good result at the end of the course.

Lack of placement opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first semester is quite annoying as you enter a new field completely. But then from the second semester becomes some what easier but I still have more to see. Some teachers are good while others are useless according to me that is.

Architecture is an application based course here you learn through practically given tasks and you are supposed to clear it. Overall it is a good course if you are hardworking and interested in construction. Keep in mind that not everything will be fed to you.
