Course Curriculum Overview :

The research environment here at NIT Silchar is pretty good specially in the field of Mechanical engineering,it along with the emphasis on making us learn the new emerging technologies other than the conventional syllabus was what made me choose this department. We have 2 major exams in a semester(2 semester in a year) and 2 Minor exam with difficulty level at par or even better than real world problems we encounter making us develop our thinking skills and grisp on subject thoroughly The faculty our good and experience having multiple awards under their belt some even coming in world's top 2% scientist

Internships Opportunities :

There were many companies that came for the internship oppurtunities offering various stipends as high as 1.5 lakh per month many companies arrived offering software engineer roles as well as major management roles.Even the PSUs like BPCL and HPCL also came

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements from 7 semester and for internships from 5 semester In the placement session of 2022-23 a total of 200 companies visited making 750 offers to 650 students The highest package was 80 LPA and teh average was 15 LPA.the average for CSE was 25 LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee and other charges required for the semester is 68470 rupees with tuition fee at 62500, with wavers like 2\3 tuition fee waver for family with annual income between 1-5 lakhs Entire tuition fee waver for family with income less than 1 lakh and SC\ST students The fee structure is governed by the NIT council and has a massive subsidy from the government The scholarships are there provided by the government and private institutions also scholar lone upto 7.5 lakh with lower interestrate than normal loan can be achieved without any collateral While in campus you can undertake part in various research project as an intern and get paid accordingly

Campus Life :

We have majorly 2 Fests here Tech fest technoesis in the month of October and Cultural fest Incandescence in the month of February These are one of the largest fests of North East Other than that their are various fess organised for different communal events The library here is the biggest digital library in Asia and also has a large collection of books that can be used to study the class rooms are well equipped with projectors and Labs have some of the most advanced machines Their are football volleyboll tennis and many sports that can be persued here. and also many student runs clubs in the technical,sports,cultural as well as literary field developing a student's skills

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are charged at rupees 8000 per year including the electricity and water, facilities given are 24*7 electriity, water, drinking water, geysers and unlimited internet The qualtiy of the food provided is quite good with a student committee given the control for supervision of the mess and full power to impose fines, the menu includes food from all parts of India.

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility 1.Must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent and be in the top 20 percentile of the batch 2.Must have cleared JEE Mains exam. Application Process Student must give JEE main exam held twice annually,for rules about the exam visit its site. After clearing JEE Mains Students should Sit in the counselling by JOSAA or CSAB and fill Preferred branch in NIT Silchar as your preference After a seat is alloted report to the college on time and complete your admission process Required documents-class 10 and 12 marksheet,Income certificate(if availing fee discount),Caste certificate(if availing reservation),admission letter,JEE score card.

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Life At IIT Guwahati

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
