Remarks :

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.

Entrance Preview :

I got admitted here through the entrance exam Combined Entrance Examination(CEE) of Assam. I scored 125 on it. I choosed the Electronics and Telecommunication btanch. I choosed this because the institute is in my home city. Admission process is on merit basis through counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its a very good branch on this college and having more faculty than other branches. They teach us nicely and clear our doubts. There are labs and a library separately for this branch for research purpose.

Internships Opportunities :

The Internship experience of this college is great. Many organisations and companies come here to attend seminars, science camps etc. to develop the students care more easily. They attend some telecommunicating practicals, surveys etc. For which they provide a stipend of 500 to 2000 rupees.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is not very good but not that kind of bad. Its average. Companies like Reliance, Vodafone, ONGC etc. come for the campus test. There are around 65 percent students get selected. Companies offer 15k to 80k per month each student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, Scholarship is available here. For those who score above 9 points in one year they are rewarded by 5, 000 for two months. The meritious students which are behind the line of poverty.

Campus Life :

Its a huge Campus full of green trees. there are 6 college buildings, 2 hostels. one for boys and another for girls. 3 Laboratories, two big playground, one basketball court, one auditorium, one seminer hall, one Gym, one cafeteria is also available here. This is situated on above 60 acres of land. whole campus is wifi enable and all time availability of current and water. The boys & girls ratio is 3:2

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels is good. The fees of hostel is 10, 000 per month per student. This cost covers the charge of electricity to the foods. The mess food is good my rating is 8.5 out of 10.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni connection to the institute is very strong. Some seminars, festivals make a strong bridge between the Alumnis and the students. They also take doubt classes for the students.

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.

Placement Experience:

Previously there was no placement opportunity, but now things have evolved, and now there are campus placements as well. The placement cell coordinators, along with the teachers, work hard to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
