Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in mechanical so I chose this branch. Our curriculum has subjects like heat transfer, ic engines, rac, fluid dynamics, etc. We have to do a btp. We have one mid-semester and one end sem every semester. The faculties are good.

Class Size : 108Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Sde roles by oracle, nvidia, cisco, wipro, paypal, brane IT companies Core roles in tata steels, jindal stainless etc Projects related to robotics, web development and artificial intelligence to avail interns

Placement Experience :

December sees more companies visiting the campus for placements. Package averages is nearly 1800000 and median is 1500000 If not placed or not interested students option for msc,mna,upsc or gate and prepare accordingly

Campus Life :

There are 4 fests wissenaire, e-Summit ,ashvamedha, alma fiesta. There are societies like dgang,kalakriti,AarOh etc. Sports like cricket, badminton, Tennis, table tennis etc are played . There is an open gym too

Hostel Facilities :

There are 3 boys and 2 girls hostels and 1 for married couples. Each student gets single room and fan light table and wifi is provided Meals are nutritious and tasty.Non veg is served 5 times a week. Jain food is available too.

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

Admission is done through JEE Advanced. One should secure a commendable rank to achieve this. Mechanical starts from 6500 rank for a general category student and closes at 8000. Application is available in jee mains nta website. Different closing and opening ranks for different categories.

My perspective, through the University experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more.
