Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is fine..i expected much more interesting courses.. but some courses are really good. In our curriculum there should be the chance for students to opt there own interest course. Faculty are well qualified and supportive towards students. We have semester exams every year and we have two semester per year and during our semester we also have tests and seminars.

Class Size : 31Course Fees : INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Accenture is one of the company came to our college.. they offered 50k per month stipend for two months.. Tata steel offered 40k per month for two month duration intership for core students particularly for metallurgical, mechanical, electronics,electrical students

Placement Experience :

After semester 6th .. particular in 7th semester the placements drive will be starting .. almost 50 percent plus students got placed..but due to recession the average package has decreased a lot..and 64 lpa is the highest package

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per sem : tuition fee-115000,hostel fee- 18000. Government helps for the students whose income is less ..by providing scholarships.. 1lakh below income- 1lakh per sem and 1lakh to 4lakh income- 66666 per sem. There are many opportunities for scholarships but there is an eligibility for it.

Campus Life :

This year the infrastructure of the college is very much improved..I enjoyed my campus life by participating in several events, programs ,chilling with friends and participating in sports ..Now the facilities in classroom are far better than previous. There are few clubs only.

Hostel Facilities :

Per semester we need to pay 18,000 rupees This includes only for food .. but this amount has gradually increasing from year to year ..the food is not that good ..it will be salt less.. coming to registration process .. hostel community will share a link

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

Admission :

I qualified jee mains with 99 percentile..and attempted jee advance ..I also qualified for the jee advance in the year 2021..I don't have any reservation.. when comes to admission process i applied in josaa counselling .. according to my rank i searched for previous year cutoff to all the colleges .. i preferred college based on the nirf ranking in that particular year ..

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
