The clubs in IIT BHU , they are very active , you can interact with like minded people discuss your ideas. Like cops, bizz, robotics, ecell
Campus life over here. You can go to library till 1 am at night. Guard are always there.

I think the competition you face after coming here is too much. Sometimes it becomes tough for students to handle also.
Mess food after 1-1.5 months. It becomes unbearable especially lunch. Most of the times students skip lunch and eat from hostel canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT BHU has a very old alumni structure. As it is a conberted IIT but it was a prestigious IT clg before. Professors here are almost slightly aged. I believe most of the professors have verygood knowledge on their subject but sometimes the teaching techniques are boring which makes it difficult to focus in the class. In every 4-4.5 months there is a semester. Phd aur.Mtech students check our copies and quizzes . Diff TA checks copy differently and sometimes not properly which makes it difficult to be fair.

Internships Opportunities :

For female students there are 2nd year off campus opportunities which come for very few iits and iit bhu comes in that list. Companies like DESIS, uber , google step , LinkedIn coachin , texus comes in 2nd year and offer mentorship and internship. Then in 3rd year there is on campus placement opportunities from top companies like uber, google , amazon , Microsoft, salesforce , texus etc.. for which you have to sit for online coding exam in july and you should atleast have 2-3 projects based on your profile. Like sde, ds/ml , consulting , quant etc. And core comapnirs also offer good opportunities

Placement Experience :

IIT Bhu has good average package. So on campus placement is good like other top 8 iits. For campus placement you have to sit in 7th semester but sometimes students get pre placement offer from the companies they did internship in. Companies like amazon , google, uber , salesforce , oracle comes for placement. Highest package for this year is 1 cr + and lowest is 7lacks. Almost 80 % got places , 1000 offers were there and other opted for higher studies. I plan to sat for campus placement in sde role

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As we know in IIT s one semester fees is almost everywhere 1lack + . But all IIT s have these rules that below 6 lacks family income they give financial benifits .if family income is between 5-6 lack then 1/3 tution fee is less. If less than 5 lacks then 2/3rd tution fee is off.. if less than 1 lack then you don't have to pay tution fee.just admission fee and hostel charges. Sc st candidates also avail same benifits. Also in 1st and 2nd year you get various scholarships. And in 3rd yr you sit for on campus internship. And in 7th sem for placements.

Campus Life :

Campus life in IIT s are something which makes an iitian an iitian. Late night walks -stress buster . Our campus is green and it has old buildings and vt inside it. Here sports clubs are very active where coaches teach how specific games , you have to dedicate your time there. Coding culture in iit bhu is very vast . Cops , bizz , ecell , quant some of the most famous clubs. Where like minded people discuss there ideas and build something new.

Hostel Facilities :

In IIT s it is necessary to stay in hostel even if you are from that particular city only. I think these force everyone to stay together and grow. Doing things on your own , managing classes , clubs , sports ,fests teaches time management which is the main skill in engineering. In mess first few days you will get good food. But after that quality deteriorates. Hostel registration is done with course registration every sem. Dinner is different for everyday and you will get non veg 3 days. They also have satwik and south mess facilities.

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

I was a dropper. First i took jee mains in 2021 but i was unable to crack it. Then in 2022 i cleared jee mains with 96.8 percentile. Then sat for jee advanced 2022 and got 107 marks , 7459 rank. Then after jossa counseling i got IIT BHU Electronics. After announcement of advanced results you have to fill your choices of college and courses and then there will 6 rounds of clg allotment process. After that i started checking the official website of the IIT BHU to know when online and physical registration will take place and what is the procedure for fee payment. You can get benefits if your family income is less than 6 lacks . Like your fees will be less according to family income. Iw was a smooth process. According to me jee advanced is a tough exam and requires immense dedication for 3 subjects ewually and depth of knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

The placement is average here because of lucknow city. But you can better placement in Metro cities like delhi, mumbai and many more. They provide average placement of 350000 and have 80% placement rate in campus placement.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we are eligible for placement drive in our campus. Comoanies like flipcart bulebook etc have visited here but the offers was very less. Average package is 4 LPA and Highest package is 7 LPA till the date. Around 40 percentage of students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is that taking job from off campus.
