- I liked the placements of the college teh placements of all the branches are quite impressive. Last year the median package of our branch was around 29 LPA which was wonderfull
- The variety of courses offered by our college is very good we have many courses ranging from computer science to pharmaceuticals engineering.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not that good. The hostels are very old but they are improving slowly that is good.
- I disliked the thing is that most of the students are doing coding and not exploring the fields here because in college every 3rd or 4th person is doing coding so because of peer pressure everyone is doing that.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the the college is same as that of other government institutions. The first year curriculum is same for every students as there is an option of branch change after the first semester and the top performers of the college got opportunity of changing the branch. I choose electronics engineerong of iit bhu because first of all it is a circuital branch and secondly it is quits interesting. The course curriculum is quite good and we have also given the real world aspects of the branch by doing exploratory project which we have to do under a proffessor. In this branch we have digital electronics, communication, analog electronics and many more the labs are also quite good with a wide range of expensive equipments in labs which make our study more interesting. The exams are held every semester one is mid semester exam and another one is end semester exam and other class tests are also happemed sometimes. The difficulty of exams is moderate.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of hostel + academics is 125000rs per semester and 15000rs for hostel mess. For the students whose parents income is less than 5LPA have to pay 1/3rd of the total fees + 15000 mess fees. The students who belongs to ST/SC/PwD and those whose family income is less than 1LPA have to pay only 7000 rs + mess fees. The students can also pay their fees with the help of loan also.
Campus Life :
The overall campus life is wonderfull here. There are a lot of clubs here for every domain and feolds we have clubs. The clubs also organises a lot of fests. The tech club organises a tech fest named Technex in which many students from our as well as other colleges competes. Apart from this a sports fest name spardha is also there. For media, photography and outreach fmc weekend is held every year. Cultural fest Kashiyatra is also conducted by students in which variour celebrities came to college to perform their concerts and also in this event various cultural clubs organizes a lot of competetions for the students. The iit bhu library is very big and a wide range of books are there in it and also there is a reading room for the students to study where anyone from the college can go anytime to study without any disturbance.

The admission process was smooth first the councelling happened on josaa website and accouding to my rank which was AIR 3762 i got IIT BHU electronics engineering branch. The admission form floats on the josaa website after one month of jee advamced exam and the application fess is 35000Rs. Jee mains is held every year and we have two attempts every year and the best of two is taken into consideration and after this jee advance takes place for the candidates who have qualified the jee mains exam and through jee advanced you get admission in IITs. There are reservation benifits also if you belongs to backward class or your income is less than 5lpa or you belongs to pwd then you get some good college as compared to other gender neutral students. The jee mains exam is easy as compared to jee advanced exam and jee advanced exam is held into two shifts one is in the morning and one in the evening each of 3 hour. Jee advanced is also considered as one of the toughest exam of india.
Interview Experience :
No there are no group discussions for the admission only criteria is to clear the jee mains + jee advanced exams to get into it. I hace prepared for the exams 2 years by understanding and practicising the concepts and problems and giving mock tests.
