Social hierarchy. Mostly everone has got a got group and everbody think they are the superior ones
Lights. Sometimes due to bad weather lights r cut for days

Course Curriculum Overview :

Nit srinagar has got a decent package structure and that was my main motivation and hence i opted for branch in the war of branch vs clg. The campus is decent with an area of 65 acres.Some infrastructural work is still going on but it's overall good.computer science course is always a good option to go for however i would suggest dont depend on college much

Class Size : 102Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee without any waiver is of around 12 lacks If u got ews it will cut down to 2/3 For less than 1 lac u pay only hostel and mess fee. U can pay with education loan easily if u r finding it difficult Nit srinagar has got a nice ambience of stipends for 3rd and 4th years

Campus Life :

I am in second semester,till now it has been good . I have got two fests in a year Techvagenza and rang e chinar,tech and cultural fest respectively It's fun having 3 days of sleepless nights however rang e chinar doesnt include late dj nights because it gets super cold to survive in months of November nights.

Admission :

I got bit srinagar through jee mains with a rank of 27k.The admission process was smooth although the counselling and the entire process was tiring.It has got a good ambience .It's you who work not the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is average as theory teaching is very good but at the same time practical teachings are very bad . There are hardly any tours outside the university. There should be practical teachings and teachers should make friendly environment.

All about NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.
