Course Curriculum Overview :

When considering the course, I saw that the curriculum aligns with my career goals, emphasizes practical skills, and has a balance between theoretical concepts and hands-on applications. It prepares you for real-world scenarios or provides a foundation for further academic pursuits. For improvements, syllabus should get updated. I feel exam frequency is high. It's 4 exams in a sem. It could be 3

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are crucial for several reasons: 1. Practical Experience - Gain hands-on experience in your field, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. 2. Skill Development - Develop and enhance practical skills that are often not fully covered in academic settings. 3. Networking Opportunities - Build a professional network by interacting with industry professionals, potentially leading to future job opportunities. 4. Resume Enhancement - Bolster your resume with relevant work experience, making you more attractive to employers. 5. Career Exploration - Test your career interests and goals, helping you make informed decisions about your future path. The college gives internship opportunities to the students. I don't have the data of the internship provided the college.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good. We can say it was the best this year. I don't have the data of the number of companies visited and offers made. I haven't decided whether I will sit in placements or persue higher studies in future

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Complete Cost of Education: - Tuition: 140000 * 4 years - Mess: 80000 * 4 years Scholarships/Financial Aid: They provide 2/3rd fee remission(around 80k per year) if you have income less than 5lakhs per year. If you have income less than 1lakhs per year or you are SC/ST, you will get 100% of the fee remitted

Campus Life :

Names of annual and technical festivals: Incident(2nd largest cultural fest in South India) - March 1st week Engineer - A tech fest Held in September E summit - by E-Cell Held in February There are 2 libraries. One with books and E library. They are a lot of Books We have classrooms which can has a seat capacity of 100. It has projectors We have all types of sports. We 2 sports complex We have many clubs. Technical and non technical We have our own student portal created by a team of students named IRIS

Hostel Facilities :

We get a cot, table, chair, a fan, wardrobe and a shelf. Hostels are triple sharing or double. Meal quality is good. But doesn't taste good. They provide hygienic food. But we get bored. Registration takes place in iris portal when we are reporting to the college. hostels are affordable. Its only 7-8k per semester. Same for mess. Even it's affordable

Admission :

Eligibility of the course: You have to get 75% or above in 12th board. And score good percentile in JEE mains to get seat There are three ways to get admitted. JOSAA, CSAB, DASA DASA is for NRI students who have written JEE mains. Fees will be very high compared to other 2 counselling JOSAA and CSAB are done for Indian students. You have to go to CSAB if you didn't get your desired branch or didn't get the college. You will have to pay extra fees to CSAB to attend counseling Details of reservation: 50% for home state 50% for other state 10% gen-ews 7.5% ST 15% SC 27% OBC-NCL Rest: Gen Each sem will have 4 exams and assignments which includes 2 quizzes, midsem and endsem

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

Remarks:

It is positive. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main. Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
