Remarks :
No negative remarks on the college. The college itself is great by its history, students, distinguished alumni, faculty, academics, extracurricular activities, placements, research etc. We have a private beach too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is at its best.exams are conducted here semester wise.in a semester we have 2 class tests,a mid semester examination and a end-semester examination.The grading will be relative and the gpa will be decided based on the performance of all.
Placement Experience :
There's a placement cell in the college which takes care of all the placements and internships of students in the college.Around 300 companies visit our college every year and most of the students get placed in their dream company.Yes our college provide internships and students will be eligible from b.tech 3rd year to take the internship but I am in my second year so currently I don't have any experience of internship.
College Events :
A technical fest named Engineer. A cultural fest named Incident. A Beach festival named Udaan. Cultural events like Coliseum, crescendo,spandan,Bharat darshan etc. Sports events like Aurora, Freshers cup,Flood light tournament. Karavali marathon etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is semester wise.The hostel cum mess fee is around 25000 per semester and the college fee is around 65000 per semester.there will be concession in college fee if a student is eligible in economically backward section or SC or ST.There won't be any fee deduction in hostel fee, everyone has to pay the same.Actually fee is feasible for the things w get here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't know of scholarships in particular but I know that there are some scholarships for people who are under BPL category and people who have excelled in their academics.Loan facility is offered by banks and our college has two banks SBI and canara whose branches are situated in the campus itself and they help us with the loan facility.
Campus Life :
Coming to labs,we have excellent labs here with equipment that are best in the market.Many were imported too.I our college we have SEM and TEM labs which just tells that how great our labs are. Coming to sports,we have dedicated grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball,kabaddi, badminton, tennis, swimming.We have a council for sports too.And recently we have opened a sports complex with high class facilities.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel.Here rooms are single double and triple occupancy ones and are allotted based on the year of study.Girls and boys have separate hostels.coming to Hostel infrastructure hostels are non-ac and each student is provided with a cot,table, chair,cupboard,fan,light,book shelf.The hostel is ok type and one can rate it 3/5.
Alumni/Alumna :
Recently our college completed 60 years.And it has alumni association and advisory which conducts many events in a year both in the college and out.They are helpful in many ways like the give suggestions on career and many give scholarships to students whose academic performance is great.
Admission :
I appeared in JEE- Main examination and obtained a tank of 20k all India in general category.After the results the admission process starts in a portal called JOSAA where we have to fill out choices of colleges and respective engineering branches,after filling the choices, a no.of Rounds of seat allocation will be done based on our choices and our rank and our category.
Faculty :
Well qualified and experienced faculty are working in our college and all the faculty have their profiles great with many research papers published and many achievements they got.Some one should be lucky enough to be taught by those faculty.
