Honest truth of Rajarajeswari college of engineering

Remarks :

First I am gonna talk about the good aspects of my college, first of all, the teaching is very good, teachers are well knowledged and if you ask doubts they try their best to solve the doubts. Next speaking of labs as I am of EC stream I can vouch that there the labs are well equipped Now speaking of the bad aspects right off the bat there are fewer placement opportunities only a few companies visit in that few companies there will be fierce competition. The campus isn't very spacious and the canteen has terrible food and has its situated beside a highway going out for shops is a little frustrating. I got to know about the college through their official website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I heard it is good for EC engineers in govt jobs and DRDo's like ISRO, Bel, etc. Actually, there is sufficient teacher considering the no of students to teachers. All the teachers are Mtech graduates or Ph.D. holders so they are well versed in their field and they try their hard to make you understand the subject. Exams are conducted at end of each month and they are at pretty medium difficulty.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

While I was studying I had got a seat under super numeracy which means that I have to pay college fees only ie 22,380 and others under CET have to pay CET fees that are 54000+22380 = 76,380. They hike the fees every four years I think. If u want a hostel service then you should pay an extra 60,000. For students admitted under CET and management government scholarship called Kar epass and even for hostel students under the same scheme. There is no financial assistance except a little more time to pay fees and I didn't get placed on the campus as when I was in the final year this Corona pandemic lockdown happened.

Campus Life :

Our college conducts an annual fest called kalasaurabha each year it's a week-long fest that includes various cultural and sports activity and an ethnic day on the final day there will be prize distribution and DJ nights and the respective branches have their own tech fest where students from other branch and college attendance. There Is a vast library with good numbers and quality of journals they even weekly tech magazines and newspaper there is a vast number of journals there is an entire floor dedicated to the library. Every there will sports meet and all type sports including outdoor and indoor activities will be conducted there is a special branch and teacher to look after sports activity. There is a club called echo club run by students that strive towards environmental responsibility

Hostel Facilities :

There will be dorms for boys and girls separately. Both are located far from each other and both are on the campus only. Usually, you will be assigned a roommate of the same year. The quality of food is mediocre there will be non-veg facilities once a week and a new item will be added to the menu every week. Registration is very straight forward once you get sorted into college Evey thing is straight forward. There is also various pgs and rooms around the college and of the decent price
