Remarks :

The college is old so new infrastructure is still under development.

Entrance Preview :

RLA is associated with University of Delhi, and follows DU admission procedure. good class 12th board marks are enough to get admission. I scored 88% in top four subject.

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course is great and curriculum is wonderful, for god sake it's DU, it has to be great. There are regular classes with assignments, projects, presentations, publication of research papers. Students are grilled with all sorts of techniques so that they can face the world better academically.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes my college provide internships, companies like billionable, amazon, IBM, eatmynews, rupeemaker, inkpotonline come every year in placement and Internship fairs. The stipend varys from 2000 per month to 10000 per month.

Placement Experience :

A good number of companies come every year such as amazon and IBM. DU central placement cell also organises placement drives for all the students from all the DU colleges. Amazon gave 3.5 lacs per annum package last year to a 3rd year Computer Science graduate.

College Events :

My college right from start of academic year organises several events, from college freshers party and Annual cultural fest to Annual day. Other events such as Commerce Society fest, Computer Science fest,Debate Society Fest, Maths Society fest and a number of such events take place throughout the year

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being a Delhi University's fully funded government college, Ral Lal Anand College has an affordable fee structure for all the available courses. The fee for most of the courses is under 10000 rupees per year. A few courses such as computer science have a higher fees yet affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

scholarship for economically weak students are provided by the college. Laptop are provided to all the students who demand for it.

Campus Life :

My college has people from all sorts of background. The male female ratio is good and there are equally provided. DU colleges are good in extra curricular activities and strong in politics, we have a well equipped sports department. All together the standards of RLA is growing day by day.

Hostel Facilities :

The Ram Lal Anand canteen is one of the best canteen in South Campus colleges. We have affordable rates and good quality food, recently updated menu and prices have lifted up the quality of food to the next level. We don't have a hostel, students live in pg or flats near the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college have its own alumni association and keeps a close interaction with them. Seminars and meeting are arranged regularly.

Exam Structure :

My college follow the Delhi University exam pattern. Every year is divided into two semesters. Internals are taken by college faculty while semester exams are dated in the month of May and December. There is a smooth transition of exams and practicals with very less chaos and disturbance.

Admission :

fill the online form on DU upload requested documents. Wait for cutoff, match your cuoff and take aprint out of application. then go to the college where you want to take admission, follow the procedure there and get yourself Registered. You will get a two day eindow to pay the online fees.

Faculty :

All the teachers are well qualified and experienced. The teachers and faculty members are selected through a tough procedure to teach in world recognized institution. They have a great knowledge and are authors of several books too. Faculty continuously work on research papers and other stuffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you want to choose a career in teaching so you should come to Delhi University. My course was Bachelor Of Science (Mathematics) Honours in Shivaji College . Because I wanted to pursue Master in Maths further. The quality of maths faculty in my college was good but if you want to pursue the same course, you should to try another college of DU like in North Campus or South Campus like Hindu College, Hansraj College Shri Venkateshwara College etc. Other courses like Bcom. Hons., BA(program) etc Course was good enough in mu College

Placement Experience:

3rd year students are eligible for Placements. But there is rationality in the Placements because the placement cell only focuses on some course that has a background in commerce and economics so the availability of placement opportunities is less for science students. Highest package from our college is 19.5 lacks and the median package is 6.4 lacks in 2020-2021. But if i talk about the electronics degree, there are very less opportunities in that particular field because its a 3 year degree in electronics so you are not either from B.tech or from diploma. It's a new course.

Placement Experience:

There's no placement in the Science field after doing a BSc in any course you need to do a master's to get a job. You can work and do job in the corporate field as a placement cell brings opportunities in fhis area. But if you want to earn direct after graduation goes for professional courses like BTech, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc. You can check the college placement cell Instagram page to know about the highest package.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement cell in the college and therefore the students have to find jobs on their own!! This is a drawback but because of the name and fame of the college one doesn't find it much difficult to do so!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for commerce students. Life Sciences does not have any campus placements. Commerce students get good placements from big companies at the very high package. We have a separate Placement Cell for this and also a Placement fair is held every year in which every student can take part. Life Sciences students prefer going for masters or for any government job after their graduation. Also, there are many jobs available for life science students in the private sector. We have jobs in chemical industries, medicinal fields, and research jobs. Life Science students always get an opportunity in science-related jobs. Most of my seniors went for them post-graduation. I am also planning for a government job after my graduation. Life Science students are also very active in internships.
