Remarks :
Ram Lal Anand College is popular as a center for education and training in disaster management. It indulges itself in traditional teaching methodology along with teaching-learning session that seems interesting and engaging to the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In semesters 1 and 2, Exploration, Geology & Remote sensing, Mining Geology & Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology & Environmental Geology, etc are taught as subjects. Besides, Petrology, Palaeontology, Mineralogy, etc are also learned by the students.
Placement Experience :
The highest package is given to the students around Rs 10 LPA. The placement cell is using every resource to bring better placement and internship opportunities for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The per year tuition fee of the course is Rs 15,400. It is slightly less for SC/ST students and the total fee is Rs 46,200.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Rs 250 per month is awarded for the honours degree pursuing students. There are 50 such scholarships are given for the college's needy students. The students who have passed senior school certificate from CBSE or its equivalent board with 55% marks can join in the scholarship challenge. Besides, the students give different kinds of prizes as awards in the name of notable persons. Some of them are Divya Jyoti Memorial Prize, Ramji Lal Memorial Prize, Kesro Devi Award, etc.
Campus Life :
There are different kinds of cells and committees for the welfare of the students. Special committees like an anti-discrimination committee, Anti-ragging committee, Anti- sexual harassment committee, etc. Facilities like medical and counseling facilities, canteen facilities, sports, NCC, NSS, etc are found here. The library of the campus is well stocked with books and magazines.
Hostel Facilities :
Both boys and girls PG are available here. One room costs around Rs 4,000 - 5,000 for non AC and Rs 5,000 - 8,000 for AC. Satya Niketan is one of the famous PG houses for students. Hostel facility is only given to the north campus.
Admission :
Students must pass 10+2 with PCM/PCB subjects along with English as a compulsory subject. Minimum 55% marks have to be maintained for getting admission.
Faculty :
Faculty have national and international value in the field of research. They bring positivity to students' attitudes.
