Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the B. Arch. Course because of it's divercity, creativity and hobby.and with that course you get a chance to come into iit here you can learn lot of things not only from your department even from other fields students. In my department faculty is very good,friendly and helpful. Here in one year we have two semesters each semester has two exams mid sem and end sem.

Class Size : 35Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In iit collages fee depends on your catagry. In general fee is around 1.5 lakh per semester while for regerved catagery tution fee is not their that is arount 1 lakh. And here definitely you can find many scholarship that depands like some are for financial weak, for top 10p rankers, for acadmic topes etc.

Campus Life :

Like is pretty good if you have friends and contacts in this large college. May be some time you det depressed if you don't have friends. E annual fest is here. Spring fest that is our cultural fest, Kshitij that is te h fest and shaurya that is sports fest. And also around 60+ clubs, societies and cells are here.

Admission :

You can get admission into Indian Institute of technology kharagpur in various courses like B. Tech, B. Sc, B. Arch., LLB, Management, Medical, Masters, Phd etc. As I am in B. Arch. Course for that we have to give firstly jee mains paper 1 then jee advance after that we have to give AAT (Architecture Apptitude Test) exam. Then through jossa council we can get seat in iit kgp.

My iit kharagpur

Placement Experience:

In my course from the 9th semester, student are eligible for campus placements. The companies that are coming in iit kharagpur are Google,microsoft etcin recent year there are total of 1430 offers came in iit kharagpur.the highest package for the year 2023-24 is 1 crore 64 lakhs to the student of the Department of Computer Science and engineering. about 80 to 90 percent of the student get placed every year in iit kharagpur if there is no recession. My plans after getting my degree is to take either placement or preparation for upsc.

Placement Experience:

Being in architecture department, placement begins from ending 4th year and continue to 5th year students can apply for it. There is compulsory internship as well that is mandatory to all 4rth year student. Companies like Google, Oracle and other big companies also do visit our campus even CEO of google is also from our college

IIT Kharagpur experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Arch course curriculum at IIT Kharagpur is very vast. Faculty:Student = 1:40 All faculties aka teachers have a very strong concreate knowledge about the subject, and their teaching method is top in the the country. Over a timespan of 4months, that is 1 Semester their are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem exam and finally 1 end sem exam. Its not that hard to pass the exam, all one needs is consistency.

Placement Experience:

Architecture is a 5yrs course. In 4th year 1st sem, internships are provided to everyone. It lasts for one semester only. Then by the end of 5th year, campusing is done. Everyone gets to sit for an interview and everyone is provided with jobs.

6 months of freedom.

Placement Experience:

Architecture dept. Doesn't give placements opportunities. Most of the students go for higher studies. So most of the companies don't come for placements. As for other engineering courses, the placement is top notch.

Entrance Preview:

I gave NATA exam, I scored 120 out of 200, I opted for this particular college because i did not get chance in shibpur and jadavpur and all my options were open from other state, but due to expense I had to stay back and remained stuck with this hell hole.

Yes, they did provide me with an internship but slot got taken by someone else.
