Much opening to every kind of sports and other activities
Good classrooms with proper sound and projectors.

Dislikes

students get into substance abuse which is a major problem.

Course Curriculum Overview :

One of the prestigious institutions with a good average package and career opportunities. Not sure but may be an 8 students faculty ratio. Faculties are from top institutions worldwide and have vast knowledge of subjects. If you go with the professors and regularly attend classes, you can maintain a decent CGPI.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Top companies across the world like Google, Microsoft, Mercedes, bajaj, TVS, Sprinkler, and many others come for interns for various profiles like IT engineers, Core jobs, analysts, and consultants. They offer a good stipend.

Placement Experience :

After the 7th semester, you can sit in the placement procedure and for an internship, it is after the 5th semester. The highest package in 2023 is 2 crore and the average package of about 24 lac. more than 80 percent got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are 1 lac per annum and a variety of scholarships are available. You can easily pay or avail fee waiver according to your financial conditions. MCM and NSP are very popular scholarships. Also, college fee waivers also be availed.

Campus Life :

Alcheringa is the annual cultural and is the biggest in the northeast. A library with 3 floors and thousands of books. Computer and communication center for computer applications. swimming pool makes it very attractive and also all other sports grounds available. Many clubs are under the student welfare board.

Hostel Facilities :

Depends on hostels. 2 Persons per room in 1st and 2nd year. A single room will be available afterward for BTech. Mess food quality is okay. You will get registered along with admission to college. 12 hostels total on the campus.

Hostel Fee : INR 62100 per year

Admission :

12th or equivalent with at least 75% marks and Jee mains and Jee advanced qualified. JEE advanced apply on the official site. There are reservation for girls, ST, SC, OBC, and EWS students. Prepare for Jee Advanced and get your dream college.

NIT Silchar - Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were very good until last year but last year due to decline in tech jobs and the burst of the IT boom , the placements have declined to a significant amount and there is no hope of recovery anytime soon . As far as I have learned from my seniors, placements are not very satisfactory.

Entrance Preview:

IIT-JEE 2016 , AIR 6629 , IIT guwahati is a college. It has its name and fame. So i chose it because it has all the facilities like co curricular and has a beautiful campus to stay at.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities in the campus placements are good as most of the graduates get a decent job before leaving the campus . The jobs offered are mainly in the non core sectors as the craze to do core jobs has tremendously went down in last few years.
