- The architecture of the IIT Hyderabad is too modern and so much beautiful also.
- Also they put the children with same ranks together therefore it helps us to study with people who have same mindset.
Dislikes
- Their is hike in fees as they are compensating the construction cost with our fees.
- They don't provide equipments for sports we have to buy our own sports equipments
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as this course offers us to know about all the branches. First 4 semesters we have to study various core courses of different branches then we have to choose a branch of specialization based on our GPA we get a branch of specialization. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:13. The qualifications of the faculty are outstanding most of them have done their PhDs and masters in IIsc banglore or top world universities. The teaching method varies among different professors some of them are good but some of them are bad teachers. Exams are conducted each month based on the credits of a course.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies come to provide Internships like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and many small startups. The stipend varies from company to company. We have to pass the internship exams and also pass the interview rounds to get internships.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Various MNCs come for placements like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, JP Morgan, etc. The highest domestic package is around 65lpa whereas international is 2cr per annum whereas the average package is 27lpa. Around 80 percent of student gets placed whereas other students continue further studies. My plan after my degree is to gain experience in the IT industry after my MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is quite high also they are increasing fees of hostels as well as tuition fees. As IIT Hyderabad is a growing IIT a lot of construction and development is going on our IIT, therefore, the college requires money so there is a hike in fees for hostels and tuition fees. I didn't get any scholarship and financial assistance and job till now but many of my friends who have reservations are availing scholarships.
Campus Life :
The annual fest is quite good it is a 3days fest named elan n Vision. It is conducted in every February of every year. There is a library in our IIT but it's not that much large but we can get almost all the books of our course which our professors are teaching for reference from the library. The classrooms are nice and they are well equipped. The sports facilities are quite good, There are various clubs in our IIT from finance and consulting to Drama club and Sci techs clubs and we have various clubs.
Admission :
I passed JEE Advanced and got a rank of 4000 in JEE Advanced. I took the engineering science branch at IIT Hyderabad it closes around 4200 ranks. We can apply through JOSAA counseling after clearing JEE. The application fee is around 35000 for taking part in JOSAA counseling. In JOSAA counselling we have to fill our choice fillings for IITs NITS and IIITs and we get a seat in various colleges based on our JEE rank. After that, we get emails from our respective colleges where we get a seat and then we have to go to the college for our admission process.
