About RGUKT Basar
IIIT Basar also known as Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), located in Basar, Telangana was established in 2008. RGUKT offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs. The University has a residential campus of 272 acres. Admissions to the B.Tech course are on a merit basis, and the M.Tech admissions are done through GATE/ PGCET entrance. Graduates of RGUKT have an impressive placement record. RGUKT Basar Courses
RGUKT offers a Six-years Integrated program at the UG level leading to a B.Tech Degree. The program is split into two parts: the first two-year is a Pre-University course, equivalent to intermediate level studies with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Life sciences while the following four years concentrates on engineering tracks.
The university also offers a 2 year M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computational Mechanics in Mechanical Engineering.

RGUKT Basar Admissions
Application for admission at RGUKT is an online process through the university website. UG Selection is on the basis of academic merit while PG selection is based on merit in entrance test (GATE/ PGCET) and performance in interview. As per the state government mandate, 85% seats are reserved for candidates from the Telangana state while the remaining 15% are unreserved and allotted to applicants from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Out-of-state candidates are accepted to fill supernumerary seats at the institution.
How to Apply?
- Access the application form for both UG and PG programs through the official website of the university and complete the application process according to given instructions.
- Applicants are required to draw a demand draft of INR 500 (INR 400 for SC/ST candidates) in favor of "The Director, RGUKT, Basar" payable at Basar, towards the application fee payment.
- The demand draft particulars have to be entered into the online registration form prior to submitting.
- After successful registration process, a print copy of the filled-in application form along with copies of relevant certificates and documents, and the demand draft needs to be posted to the university at ‘Administration Department, Administrative building, RGUKT, Basar (Village & Mandal), Nirmal District, Telangana State – 504107’.

The RGUKT campus is spread over 272 acres and is equipped with ICT-enabled class rooms and advanced laboratories that are at par with the national best.
Hostel: As a residential campus, RGUKT has 6 separate hostel blocks, 3 each for boys and girls, with a total capacity of 8000 inmates. The hostels are equipped with all facilities for comfortable living and completely Wi-Fi enabled as well.
Central Library: The RGUKT Library is home to 1.1 lakh volumes, 1125 titles, numerous periodicals and journals, and huge electronic resources, equipped with OPAC.
Shopping Complex: The self-contained campus also has a shopping complex where the students and staff members can find items of daily needs.
Medical: The campus also has a 30 bed- medical facility with doctors and nurses available round-the-clock.
Recreational Facilities: The students have access to indoor and outdoor recreational facilities like well-equipped gym, and basketball, badminton, table tennis courts, cricket field, and several other sporting facilities.

RGUKT Basar Scholarship
RGUKT offers Teaching Assistantship to all M. Tech students with a monthly honorarium of INR 10,000. Students who have qualified GATE are eligible for GATE scholarship. Such candidates will not be considered for the university’s Teaching Assistantship.

Ques. Is there any provision for dual specialization in B. Tech at RGUKT?
Ans. Yes, RGUKT offers the option of double majors (like Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering) or a combination of one Major and one minor or one Major and two Minors. Minors can be chosen from Business Management, Economics Mathematics, Social Sciences and Statistics.
Ques. Elaborate on the M. Tech selection process.
Ans. M. Tech selection is based 80% on GATE/ PGECET scores and 20% on Interview performance of applicants. GATE qualifiers are given preference over PGECET score-holders. Out-of-state GATE-qualified applicants are also accepted, following the reservation policy of the state government.

I am b21 batch. Generally admissions for this university is taken based on cgpa secured in 10th class board examination. Students who score more than 9.8 gpa in 10 th exam will get seat easily in rgukt. For my batch selection was based on rank secured in polycet examination due to covid 19. Students who was from rural background has more chances to get seat in rgukt university

Generally admissions for IIIT basar will be taken based on cgpa secured in 10th class board exams but for my batch due to covid 19 ,admissions had been taken based on rank secured in polycet examination . We can apply for admission in this university after 10th exams in Mee seva's. Admissions are taken based on reservation. Present there are 1500 seats for every batch and 10% reservation for ews category. Students who score above 9.8 gpa in 10th examination will have more chances to get into this university. Students who are from rural backgrounds and from government schools had more preference than students from private schools . 0.4 gpa will be added for governance school students during admissions so they have more chances to get seat. And there is special reservation for ncc , cap ,pH students and after selection there is certificates verification will done in online mode or offline mode so students should keep required certificates with them before the verification process .

Admission:
The admission process is done by taking the top-scored students in the TSPOLYCET 2021 exam. The top 750 students who applied for RGUKT Basar are admitted under the general category and the remaining students are taken under reservation. The selected students are called to college and taken required documents for consideration. In this way the admission process took place. All the aspects of the admission process are taken systematically.

Admission is according to our 10th class gpa.Based on that seats will be available.We have to apply everything in academic block.There's reservation only for SC ST.For private school students their is no free seat available. private school students they'll get global seat.It's tough to survive here.!

Admission was done on the basis of merit list of polycet exam.The cutoff rank was about upto 1600. They had charged 4100 for admission fee which I didn't liked it. Eligibility of the course is they should qualify 10th marks and they should score good rank in polycet too. Application form and all details are in online hub website, rgukt.ac.in. There is reservation for PH, CAP, SPORTS category.

No, unfortunately, RGUKT Nirmal doesn’t offer Sanskriti language subject to the students.
No, you need to have passed HSC exam or 12th too that also in Science stream to be eligible for admission to B.tech program.
RGUKT Nirmal is a Central University and thus doens’t offer admission to students based on management/donation fees. You can also contact the college about it at: 9492303856,9492301902.
You need to pass 10+2 with 60% and then admission to Integrated B.tech is based on merit and based on PGECET/GATE exam for M.tech course.
