Remarks :
It is still a developing one. IITH started in 2008 and the few buildings are in construction. The only problem one can face is the college is very far from other part of the hyderabad city and there is no proper transport available.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In IIT HYDERABAD there is a unique curriculum named 'fractal' system in which exams are conducted regularly. The schedule is quite hectic during some days. Few days are chilled. Exam structure is same as other colleges.
Placement Experience :
The placements are very good. The average package is around 15 lacks per annum. Our college also offers internships during third academic year. Placements at IIT Hyderabad for the academic year 2018-19 bagged 261 offers for 418 registered students. More than 252 companies registered for the placement drive out of which approximately 107 companies completed the placement process till date. The top paying companies included Mercari, Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development, Works Application and SMS Data Tech. The highest salary offered for the current year is Rs. 53. 79 LPA and the average salary is Rs. 16. 74 LPA. The institute also bagged 22 international offers this year.
College Events :
There are many events conducted quite regularly in our college. This include DJ nights,Ice cream nights,Open mics, special dinner and so on. Elan Nvision is the main technical and cultural fest conducted in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee per semester is around 1,50,000/-. Which includes tution fee,hostel fee,mess fee and so on. It is a bit expensive but we will have a Remmision when we are from below income background and the government provides scholarship for all the merits and some private groups offer a scholarship ships so it is ease to pay it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
SBI Vidyalakshmi scheme gives you a full opportunity to have a loan of your tution fee and it's intrest is payed by IITH itself still you stay in the Institute only and we meet scholarship which was give for people above 8 cgpa.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are quite important here. There is huge Inter-IIT tournment conducted every year where all iits compete for the titles. Inter iit is conducted in the fields of technical,sports and cultural. Women are also part of this tournament.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for Hostel and our college started in 2008. so it is still developing in infrastructure. Super hostel we have a inbuilt cooling system in hostels so even in mid summer we feel chill without an ac only and we have good facility of providing cycles etc the mess is a okk like thing but other were fascinating.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is Alumni meet every year where alumni share their experiences and get awarded for their achievements. They are very helpful in fact they one guide us and they who offer interns etc the are boon to us they treat us like there own bro and they give suggestions and tips also to us I liked the way they with us.
Admission :
I got the admission to IIT HYDERABAD through JEE ADVANCED Examination. After you qualify for the exam we will get a chance to choose the IIT which in inturn depends on the rank. JOSAA allocates the seats to students based on the options they fill and the rank.
Faculty :
The faculty are highly qualified. They are post-graduates from IIT's and other top foreign universties. Their teaching style is quite good. They give project experience by assigning the projects and including it in the grade.
