Remarks :

The Cotton University is one of the most prestigious instituiton of North East India. Every student of Assam have a dream to study in the college.I am so lucky that i got a chance to study in this college.

Entrance Preview :

One of the best college and university in Assam. One can have to appear in entrance to get admission in cotton University.In the Under Graduate and Higher Secondary Level course there is no Entrance exam but in Post Graduate level you have to give a entrance to qualify yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The prestigious Cotton College is now considered as Cotton University.The university very good syllabus for student and its syllabus are so relevant UPSC exams .The respective department held seminar ,field trip and and extra classes on practicals .It focoused both on Theory and Practical Learning

Internships Opportunities :

The university have its own internship named THE STUDENT AID FUND however it gives to very low amount people every year.The amount is likely 5000 Rupees every yaer.

Placement Experience :

You have to got 80% above in Higher secondary course to get admission in the college.In PG courses you have pass the entrance to qualify for admissiom

College Events :

The Cotton University have its own Fest named "COTTON FEST" and it held every year. And other Cultural,Music ,Debating ,QUIZ programme are held in every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure are very low compared to other institutions. When i got admitted in this college ,the amount of the fees are less than 4000. However it changed every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No.The College authority didnot issue any schoolership or loan to student.

Campus Life :

The University students are very anxious in extracirruculer activities. The university provide good facility for students.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 7 hostel for boys and 3 for girls. The facility of the hostel also good and it cost very low. The Hostel are besides the university campus.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a Alumni House in the College but is not so effective.But they provide in the all round development in the college .

Exam Structure :

Yes,Every semester have two sessional and other assignment and seminar paper.But I think its good for the student in the compatative exam world.

Faculty :

The faculty members are very helpful and they are highly experience one. They are friendly with student and we like to interact with our professor.

Review of our campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our Course is of CBCS patter which gives SGPA and CGPA. The course and syllabus is made very effectively. The curriculum consists of not only India but outside India too. Such as American Literature, African Literature, Victorian period, post colonialism etc The course oneust ne improve is the translation paper as this has been cancelled due to some inconvenience. But this paper should be included as it is one best and likely subject in English language and literature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Guwahati university is one of the finest university in Assam. However, you might face difficulties when you need to coordinate with the administrative department. They are not polite, the way they should. Departments and Classes are very good. They complete their syllabus on time, but exam level is quite difficult during master's. You have to attend the classes, you can't miss those, they you can obtain a good mark,otherwise it is really difficult. If I mention about the syllabus, it is good but not upto date. It is a kind of old syllabus compare to other universities.

A review on Cotton University

Course Curriculum Overview:

Passion for understanding economic systems and their impact on society drove me to pursue a Master's in Economics. The MA in Economics, curriculum equips me with both practical and skill for real-world application and a solid foundation for advanced academic pursuits. Integrate real-world case studies and industry collaborations to enhance applications in MA in Economics.Update the curriculum to include emerging economic trends and digital tools for comprehensive skill development. Teaching methods should be based kn the syllabus. Teachers should use digital tools to present the ideas and make effective in teaching and learning method. The Main Entrance called CPGEE is held in the month of July(especially last week).One who wants to crack the exam, mustccomplete the UG syllabus of Cotton University. Exam is difficult based on my experience.

Good Infrastructure and loads of room for co-curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was new and up-to-date in the region There were lot of activities on mental health issues and field studies. The course should have atleast 2 to 3 internships. The exams were tough and there were 4 semesters.
