BIT MESRA REVIEW

Dislikes

  • BIT LALPUR EXTENSION DOES NOT HAVE ANY CANTEEN FACILITY FOR THE STUDENTS

Course Curriculum Overview :

When you opt for MBA, the first and second semesters were compulsory for all the students, and then you will have to choose your specialization, i.e., finance, human resource, marketing, IT, and business analytics. Here in BIT Mesra, dual specialization is compulsory, the student will have to choose two specializations at a time. The faculties are so good and supportive.

Internships Opportunities :

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra offers internships in different companies and students can apply to the company via the link that is forwarded in the WhatsApp group of training and placement cell group.

Placement Experience :

The campus placement is good and every student will get the opportunity to sit in the placement process. But once a student got placed, he/she shall not be allowed to sit in another company for a better opportunity.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Birla Institute of Technology has 5 to 6 branches in all over India, like in Ranchi, BIT Mesra, and BIT (lalpur extension). The fee structure will be given in the official portal, and you can opt for a student loan for paying your college fees. The annual fee was 148000. I got no scholarships.

Campus Life :

Campus life is friendly, and there are different classrooms for different specialization students. The classroom is well equipped with air conditioning and a smart board. There are different extra curricular activities are performed inside the campus, and there is a fest every year.

Admission :

If you want to take admission to Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, (in MBA), you will have to give the entrance exam, i.e., cat, mat, zat, cmat, and other exams. Then, there will be an interview round (P.I. Round), in that, they will ask you the basic questions: like your educational background and why you want to join, which course you are going to opt for, etc.

Interview Experience :

To take admission to Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, you will have to face a personal interview round, in PI Round, basic questions are asked, like educational background are asked, and after that, you will have to pay your fees, and it's all done.

Placement Experience:

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

Remarks:

IMS is located in the heart of Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi surrounded by Parks and greenery. College is good. I can give 8 out of 10. It's not like IIMs or other prestigious colleges but it is nice college to explore your inner talent.
