Course Curriculum Overview :

I was good at drawing and had seen my uncles who are architects as well working and earning well. I used to have a passion for making models since childhood and this profession connected me to this interest which was also an escape from engineering if you are a non. med student at school.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

people after passing look out for job opportunities in design. some join architecture while the majority get into product designing and UI/UX as a profession. some even get on to start their own design firms.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fees were generally low but recently from what I have heard the college will stop getting central funding by 2025 which indicates an increment of fee hikes in subsequent years. at present, it's around a lakh for a sem.

Campus Life :

Spandan is a major fest where the whole college comes together as a student family where we make wall art, make installations, and prepare for music, and concerts, we have theatre societies as well. overall the event isn't big but yes creates great community bonding with seniors.

Admission :

My admission was taken through jee mains paper 2 of architecture. the course requires one to have basic ability skills along with drawing. the admission takes into consideration your 12th and jee mains paper 22 of architecture. maths is often made compulsory to have in your 12th.

MY LIFE AT NIFT

Placement Experience:

from the second last semester, students start getting placed. landmark, Nike, puma, Adidas, and almost 70% placement, the highest package is 10lac. and the average is 4-5lac. 70% of students are being placed. Job in the fashion industry.

Life at Nift

Admission:

Through the process of GD and PI. There was an entrance exam conducted first. After which students were shortlisted according to the cutoff marks and then called for the process of GD PI. After which the students were called for counseling and got the Nift campus according to their merit rank.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities are quite good. All the high and known brands and companies visit the college for their recruitment process. We are given the freedom to work or intern in any area of our interest in the fashion industry which is what I appreciate.

my review of the college is both positive as well as negative. i really like the atmosphere, there is a very good social interaction with people of different background. the negative of it was the fees mainly, so middle class family students should think before admission.
