Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. As we all know that DU is very reputed for its studies. The faculty in my college is really friendly and intellectual. The teachers are always ready to help students and take full initiative to teach them. The faculty is also really educated like most of them have done Ph.D in really diverse fields. The term exams are held twice that is, mid-sems and final semester exams and obviously its DU so the exams are also difficult that is a student needs to study hard and smart to score good.
Internships Opportunities
Students get a lot of internship opportunities from different online platforms like LinkedIn, Internshala etc... and there is also The Placement Cell which contacts different companies and offers internships for students in different fields.
Fees and Financial Aid
University of Delhi is a government university thus the fees is really less as compared to provate colleges and universities. Also, the students from economically weaker section get fee concessions through colleges itself. The job opportunities are also good and people get internships through different online platforms and also from The Placement Cell of different colleges. The stipend varies on the type of internship and skills and average is around 7,000-10,000
Campus Life
The annual fests for all the colleges start from february end and are mind blowing. Different singers perform and its so exciting. The library is very huge and books of all subjects and types are available. There are various societies in all the colleges and being a part of them is too fun. Students get a lot of skills and experience from these.
Admission
The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats. The admission process should be a little fast and a bit more professional.
