Remarks

I didn't apply to any other college. Keeping in view my numbers, this was the best it was going to get. The admission process was quite easy. The online admission process in DU is quite uniform. And I did not apply under any quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The exams are scheduled by DU. So, college cannot really be blamed for either conducting exams or their difficulty. Also, the exams were fairly tough because of OBE (Open Book Examination). The toughest was Accountancy, which was a little out of what we did in our course, though the teachers reassured us that marks will therefore be awarded accordingly.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The College has a placement cell. It regularly provides students with updates regarding internships, both paid and unpaid. The stipend is directly proportional to the skillset demand for the internship, and you should not get your hopes too high. But, you can definitely gain in terms of experience.

Placement Experience

2.5

I don't want to provide the wrong information here. For details, everyone should check out the yearly prospectus on the college website. Though I can tell you about my plans. I plan to take a year or two's break and work a job may be, then go on with my post-graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have heard that DDUC offers good campus placements. For more information, you should definitely check out the college prospectus. Also, since the college itself is pretty affordable, I think it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Campus Life

2.5

There are a lot of them, a lot. Some are expected, some are those I haven't heard of. I did join a few but didn't continue with any of them cause- online. Attending online classes, and on top of that, attending seminars, sessions, and other activities of your clubs is a little overwhelming for me.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I opted for a hostel and paid a token amount, though it has been returned. The hostel fee is 1,25,000 annually. But the entire college has a newly constructed building and the infrastructure is top of the line. Every expected, as well as some unexpected facilities, are available in the hostel itself. Though I don't have personal experience but renting a pg and everything might cost you almost similar, or a little more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First thing is I was from Commerce stream ,second one I was also Persuing my CA along with my college that's why I choose that course because CA course majorly covers syllabus of b.com honours so that's why it was easy for me . B.com honours offers a more focused and rigorous curriculum compared to general b.com students can specialise in accounting, finance, taxation or business analytics.

Placement Experience:

The college provides internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. The college provides 20-30% definite placements to the students. And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.
