Likes

the faculty is very understandble and helpful
the auditorium which fully funcitional and maintained
the sports room , gym and ground is neat and clean

Dislikes

the furniture and the rooms of our college are mostly broken
the college enviroment is also fishy sometimes
the administration is sometimes rude while performing the tasks

Course Curriculum Overview

in terms of relevance and comprehensivess the curriculum of our college is good and teaches accordingly . the curriculum helps in solving real world problems , it teaches tally and other software which helps in getting jobs , etc . the timings of our exams are from 9 am till 12 am

Fees and Financial Aid

the detailed fee structure is very easy . the yearly fee is 16185 which includes fee for our classes , library , auditorium fee , regstration fee , etc. the examination fee is different for different courses . it is approx 2000 per student . their are various scholorshio that my college provides for backward students .

Campus Life

the overall experience in my campus life is fun . i enjoy studying here . their is a lot of diversity in this college . students are from various states , including north eastern . the accesibility of books and journal in our library is good . all kinds of books are available for our understanding . the sports in our college is also good their are various society in our college for sports

Admission

i applied for punjab university and other delhi university colleges but i chose this college because it was providing me the exact course which i wanted . i didnt get rejected it was because of the cource selection that i chose this college . the administration process is through CUET . the eligibility is obviously 12th passes out. the cut off for my course was around 650/80

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is 3:60 which is very low . the faculty is approchable in the college as well as during the holidays on whatsapp . the best faculties are of commerce department . all the subject faculty are easy approchable . their are 7 exams in my course 3 DSC 1 GE SEC VAC and EVS .

Night Life

the nightlife of our college is also good . all students get around the auditorium after dinner , have fun together , tak aboyt studies , society work and various other things . the locality is also safe around the college . their is a market to eat food and enjoy the day other that studies.

Life at Venky

Placement Experience:

In SVC students become eligible for placement from the start of 3rd year. Recruiters like Deloitte, KPMG, Genpact etc. Companies comes to SVC and select students on the basis of their selection process. Generally applications round, group discussions and interview happen. The avergae placement package of our college is 5 LPA and till now the hightest is 15 LPA. Some students go for placements but some go for CA or MBA or any professional course. My plans after getting my degree is getting into Banking sector as i am preparing for Grade B exam.

First thing is I was from Commerce stream ,second one I was also Persuing my CA along with my college that's why I choose that course because CA course majorly covers syllabus of b.com honours so that's why it was easy for me . B.com honours offers a more focused and rigorous curriculum compared to general b.com students can specialise in accounting, finance, taxation or business analytics.

And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

The place of college is good, college is located in Punjabi Bagh, near to market, college also has its on canteen which provide good and fresh food. It also has its on parking and playing ground. The only bad thing about college is the size of college is little small.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. Duplex contractions

Gradually I filled the DU admission form where I got a chance to get enrolled in all the colleges under DU. After the first cut-off, I got myself enrolled in Satyawati College, eve. Then after the 2nd cut-off, I got myself enrolled in Satyawati Day and I'm continuing there. No, I'm from the general category. But I see many people from sort of disabled categories which is indeed a thing to be proud of. The care they receive in my college is sometimes overwhelming. They are made to feel at home and just like the rest. Hearing from teachers' experiences and students' elite I really appreciate the diversity my college thrives. I got admission in the morning batch because of the relaxation of 1% for the female gender. Maths had to be a compulsory existence in my list of subjects for the final calculation of my %, with a maximum of 60% in 12th. For Satyawati day the admission process was actually quite systematic and authentic, way better than in the evening in terms of time and quality both....Read More
