Remarks :
The college management is really very good. Starting from the academics, library facility, the campus beauty, hostel facilities everything are up to mark.
Entrance Preview :
PhD interview. I planned for only this course. Because I always wanted to learn more and in details. Research is one of the way to know things minutely.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In the 1st year we had to take 4 subjects which was closely related to our research work. The course structure was properly designed for the students. There was two to four quizzes in one semester and one mid semester exam along with an end semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
it provides internship. But it do not provide stipend. The students need to contact the faculties or department heads.
Placement Experience :
Though all students do not get placed through campus interviews but 40-50% of them get placed to the companies coming to the campus. Some pharmaceutical companies come for Chemical students. I have better idea about only Chemical department. Cadila pharmaceuticals is one of the companies which came in the year 2016.
College Events :
There is one annual technical cum cultural fest called "alcheringa".Besides this there are some more festivals like "Reflux, Technice, Manthan, Advaya" etc.There are other regional festivals also which are conducted by the different communities of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is also feasible. We get some stipend while doing the course. So giving approx. 20-22k is not that expensive. This 20-22 K includes the hostel fees for 4 months also. For BTech students the fees structure may be different. But for Mtech and PhD students it is almost same.
Campus Life :
I like the campus life of our college. We can roam around the campus whole day and night. There are 12 hostels of which two are girls hostels. There is one hostel for married scholars also. all the students of our college involves in various kind of extracurricular activities. They are good in not only in academics but also they are good in sports, literature, debate, arts etc.
Hostel Facilities :
We have single rooms in hostels. We get one bed, one pair of table and chair. Besides each room has one wardrobe one rack for keeping the things properly. the room has one window having net so that the room can be protected from any kind of insects. One balcony is provided for drying clothes.
Alumni/Alumna :
I don't have much idea about alumni network and senior students. But what I know is that they sometimes sent information regarding placement and sometime they provides funds for improvement of the college.
Exam Structure :
There are 4 quizzes of around 20 marks. Then there is one mid semester exam covering the half of the course and finally the end semester examination covering the whole course. In between there are some surprise tests conducted by some faculties. According to me the exam system is not that hectic.
Admission :
I applied through online application. Then I was shortlisted and called for interview. After 20-30 minutes of personal interview they have selected me. As per my own interest I talked to the concerned professor and he offered guidance. The whole process was quite convenient to all even to those who don't have idea about the course also.
Faculty :
All the faculties are experts in their own field. I feel they teach the subjects in their own way. They arrange some flip classes also so that all kind of students can get interest in the subjects. They always try to improve the teaching system so that they can attract every students towards the class. I feel they have succeeded at least 90%.
