Remarks :
The college management is not up-to mark. Every time you need to work hard to get any thing done by management. Mess system need to improve it is very poor.
Entrance Preview :
Qualified exam - gate Score was 745 The required score for this college is between 700 to 850. So it was the best option is choose it. Moreover the campus is one of beautiful campus in India.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is divided into two semester. Each semester include some elementary courses which are basically related to your BTech education and rest focus on the research part. So, in each semester you need to focus only on tow to three subjects mainly rest you have already studied.
Internships Opportunities :
The stipend for Ph.D scholar is as per the Ministry of Human Resource Development rule. you will be entitled 25000 per month for first two year the for next three year you will be paid 28000 per month.
Placement Experience :
The placement is good . Most of the student get the job in campus selection. But job profile is mainly software. So people interested in the core job do not get proper job. that is why technical skills of students in their respective branch is very poor. The job opportunity outside the college is also fre because of fame of the college.
College Events :
The event in the college are celebrated at large scale. Each department held its own departmental vent which include technical skills , professional skills , and many more. At institute level, three main events are hosted by the college: Kshatriya, technex and spardha. Kshatriya is cultural fest followed by spardha which is a sports fest. Technex is technological event.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is different at different level. For BTech student it is 65000 per semester, for Mtech it is 1600 and for Phd it is 16000. So for higher education fee structure is relatively low. Moreover in Mtech and Phd you will get stipend so you can cover your fee from that. For Btech they are dependent on family only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In PhD and Mtech, the scholarship is available. For Btech final year students only there is TA ship in which you have to do some college work. You will be paid 3500 hundred per month for that.
Campus Life :
The campus life is one of the strong point of this college. The place is nice to live. The gender ratio is very poor. approximately 15:1 boys to girls is found. There are many cultural socites which include drama, nukkad, dancing and many more. The labs are nice include almost everything related to you stream. Sports is another area where you can enjoy.
Hostel Facilities :
The facilities are poor. The food available in the mess is not good. they donot maintain the hygiene in the food. The taste is not good. the room are double occupied having single occupancy. So it is very tough to manage. The outdoor facility is not at par. The greenery is good in the hostel. So there is always a compromise in the facilities.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni of this college is excellent. Few of them are at very high position. They also provide financial aid to the college. The advise of alumni is really helpful. the provide the feedback about the company in which they are working.
Exam Structure :
The exam structure is kind of chill out. Every professor ask only what he taught in the class. so stick to the class room and you will get good marks. It is very tough to get failed in the exam rather getting marks. So enjoy the exam and secure good marks. because the placement is done on the basis of the CGPA.
Admission :
The admission process is simple. You need to fill the application form. After that shortlisting is done t campus and you will be called for interview. At interview stage, it is solely dependent on your performance. But the weigh is given to your gate performance.
Faculty :
The College faculty is average. generally the focus on the subjects not on the research. So it is relatively disappointing when compared to old IITs. But few new faculties do focus on the research. So in future this part also be good. Control and power electronics area is growing now a days
