Remarks :

I have given jee advanced in year 2021 I am repeater. You can find application form on jee advanced website once you clear the cutoff of jee mains which varies each year according to number of students appeared as it is on percentile basis . Once jee advanced is cleared jossa counseling is scheduled which is very user freindly process by filling your choices you can get admission in college and branch you deserve.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am here in mechanical department majority professors of IIT Guwahati in this department are chill and are very freindly though some are always exception. Also they are highly qualified and faculty is to students ratio is decent here.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience :

So if you are sincere enough you can get internship which pays handsome money in 3rd year also if you performed well there you can get pre placement offers. We have placement cell and intership cell here which helps students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees of IITs are same everywhere and is decided by central government considering inflation and World class facilities they provide here so it's not a issue besides financial assistance of every kind in form of scholarship of various ministries and institute scholarship for top performers are available here.

Campus Life :

So we have here 10 technical club which deals in every current technical field and 10 cultural club which take care of every aspect of cultural side. They work very efficiently. Plus we have tech board and sport boards which provides World class facilities in the same . Classes are fully central air conditioned with projectors and sound system.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel here are full of every facilities including gym , mess , canteen, stationary, juice centre, pantry , music room , tv room, Library, common room etc . Plus we have round the clock guards and hostel management committee which take care of students. Also rooms are equipped with basic amenities.

NIT Silchar - Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were very good until last year but last year due to decline in tech jobs and the burst of the IT boom , the placements have declined to a significant amount and there is no hope of recovery anytime soon . As far as I have learned from my seniors, placements are not very satisfactory.

Entrance Preview:

IIT-JEE 2016 , AIR 6629 , IIT guwahati is a college. It has its name and fame. So i chose it because it has all the facilities like co curricular and has a beautiful campus to stay at.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities in the campus placements are good as most of the graduates get a decent job before leaving the campus . The jobs offered are mainly in the non core sectors as the craze to do core jobs has tremendously went down in last few years.
