Best private college in india

Remarks :

More than 85 per cent in 12, clear the cutoff of various courses in BITSAT which can be found on their website. No reservation available everything is merit-based. Results are declared as per the iteration. I want the results of each iteration to be out beforehand, so that we don't waste money on the commute and make the students come there for the final round only not for 2-3 iteration

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers were qualified and there was hardly any day they would skip the classes, just expected the electronics teachers to be less monotonous and be creative or interesting in the way they teach. We have to rely mostly on self-study

Internships Opportunities :

Companies provide internships here which is called PS. Various software companies usually from Banglore, Hyderabad and Delhi NCR are listed with decent stipends. Intuit, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra are few among a huge list

Placement Experience :

In the fourth year or 5th for dual degree students, students are given an option to choose the semester during which they want to sit through the interviews. A huge amount of startups and companies come to seek students. Directi and Amazon usually offer the highest placement of 30-40 lakhs CTC. Almost everyone has a job offer in hand after graduating from here.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees increase by15% each year which is not good for economically weaker students, the merit scholarship amount is less too and income verification should improve too as some people take advantage of that.

Campus Life :

The clubs and departments are the best part of this college, the different people you meet there with such tremendous talents, I was in awe. The library is fully stocked with books from our course as well as other topics that might interest the students. The classrooms are spacious and always squeky clean. BITS offers the best personality development in India, i must say this

Hostel Facilities :

Food is balanced and yummy, especially breakfast. The chole bhature served on Sundays has its own fan base among the students. The food is affordable and the college gives you two messes to choose from A.C.

Other Applied Colleges

Netaji Subhas University of Technology - [NSUT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronic Instrumentation and Control)

The final round was late than the bits and the placements were better in BITS

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are decent. Students from Computer and IT department easily get placed at a company. The companies that frequently visit Goa engineering college are persistent, one shield, Infosys, tcs , Wipro etc . Each year there are around 300 offers received in the entire college. The highest package a student has got is 15lakhs per annum from TurtleShell. The average package is 6 LPA. Around 50% od the students get placed. I wish to work at a product based tech company after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Remarks:

The college as a whole has good faculty, infrastructure and good placements. It can be one of the best colleges one could get (if not an IIT). The only negative (not exactly) remark would be the fee structure of the college
