I appeared for WBJEE entrance which is main selection process for getting admission in any professional disiplines in west bengal, & i stood 1767 position in this examination rank list.

Internships Opportunities :

Well, differnet companys like software giant in india TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITED, CTS, TECH MAHINDRA , WIPRO, ERRICCSON , SAPOORJI & PALLONJI , M N DASTUR, DAMADOR VALLEY CORPORATION are often visited our college for recruiting us.

Placement Experience :

Placement & job opportunities are not quite good nowadays , specially for civil engineering students, very rarely company of our trade visit our college , but for others department like computer science & engineering, electronics engineering , it is quite good.

College Events :

The famous & very enjoyable college fest is JECLAT , every year during the end march , we organise this college annual festivals, some other festivals like tour de jolu. Specially a cycle racing event in college students, college technical festival is also there , really enjoyable, peoples from the native villages are also attend to show & enjoy it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Minority scholarship scheme for student belonging to minority community, & SC /ST / OBC scholarship is also available for corresponding cast.

Campus Life :

College campus is fill with natural scenery , which makes our day very blessing, always feel healthy here, gender ratio is like 70 girls student in 1000 boys student. Really shocking gender ratio. Sports is a part & percel of our daily life, students enjoy very much at evening time playing cricket , football in college ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I have done my b.tech in Agricultural Field.There is 5 faculties for 22 Students. Two Exams in each semester like mid term exam and semester end exam. All Faculties having minimum graduation like post doctoral.

Placements of an IIT are always great. It is the first destination of some multi-national companies for recruitment. Our previous batch observed 1600 placement offers being made to the students including 35 international offers. Highest CTC went to Rs. 2.4 CPA. Sectors like software, Analytics, Consulting, Core Analytics, banking, finance made job offers. Barclay, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Microsoft, MasterCard, Dr. Reddy, Tata Steel, and many such others participated in the week.

GATE, For computer science in PG course you have to opt min 500 score approximate for general category. Admission process is pretty simple science CCMT comes.

Admission:

I took this college in the NSR the last round, my score is 557 GEN, i am looking better college, but unfortunately in NSR round general seats are not vacant in many respectful colleges. You just fill the the CCMT account and whole process is online so you do not have to go anywhere for filling form.In that form you to fill the all eligible colleges and branches in the priority-wise. You can also checks the previous years cut-off marks for any colleges, based on that you can fill the choices. After that they notify some tentative dates for 1 st round counselling. If you got any college then you have to go for registered college for verification either you want to take that college or cancel that. You can wait for other rounds for better colleges .
