You have to score a decent rank of one lakh approx in JEE MAINS if you belong to the general category to get admission to IT DEPARTMENT. Application fees and dates can be found from ipu.ac.in Also, EWS category is treated as a general category in all private colleges of IPU

I had chosen this course because I want to make a career in software development Faculty-student ratio is good Overall faculty qualification is good except for some faculty In INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY, Akash book is required for scoring 90% + in any subject

I am currently in the 4th semester so I have not availed of any internship till now. I have no experience with that. But many companies like Goldman Sachs , ZS ASSOCIATES offered many roles(tech and non-tech both) for students

After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Some companies need only those students who scored 7.5+ GPA in the semester exam overall. Almost 90percent of students are placed in CSE and IT branches

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees of B.Tech course are almost 138000 Delhi government provided a scholarship named Meri cum means scholarship from which you can get full tuition fees refund of about 117000 I had availed this scholarship

Campus Life

There are many societies in our college Tech societies are IEEE MSIT, Techsoc, etc. Non-tech societies are Prakriti, NSS, E-Cell, etc. Sports facilities are not good in our college bcoz of the small campus size

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I choosed msit bcz it had good placements in cse/it n also infra is decent.. i applied to few other ipu clgs like bpit n mait... but msit felt better in vibe n crowd. didn’t get nsut or dtu bcz my rank was not that good.. missed cutoff by lil bit..
