Remarks

After 12th i gave jee main which used to find me the best college I can have.I am quota student so it helped me to get much better college .The counselling process of ipu was very slow .Give your best shot in Jee , so you can get a good college .

I got into Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology pursuing BTech CSE because I am fascinated about technology , computers, etc. Faculty of the college is pretty decent , but no so good , they have great knowledge about their subject but somewhat lack in teaching skills . Difficulty of exams depends on how many days before you have started studying ????.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunity in our college but you have to be skilled according to your interest. Student who are placed in Microsoft, and Amazon gives good guidance to juniors for their internships.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year you can sit for placements ,the placement cell of the college is great . Companies like Wipro, Infotech, Infosys,Adobe come here. Most of the CSE students got placed this year and some also got more than one offer.Avg package offered is 7 lakh per annum . My plans after getting degree is to get a job or go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

In MSIT Btech is the most expensive course than in any other college of IPU. It is 20-25k more than usual fees. The college provides lots of opportunity in 3rd year like internship and then placement.

Campus Life

No fest was conduct in previous 2 years ,and also the fest planned in 2022 also got cancelled due to COVID guidelines.Library is among the good things in my college, it provides you with journals and curriculum books . Prakriti,IEEE MSIT ,Octave are the some famous clubs of MSIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I choosed msit bcz it had good placements in cse/it n also infra is decent.. i applied to few other ipu clgs like bpit n mait... but msit felt better in vibe n crowd. didn’t get nsut or dtu bcz my rank was not that good.. missed cutoff by lil bit..
