Remarks :

For eligibility in Mtech you first have to complete your Btech course and then have to appear for GATE .Application fees is 750 and The application form is opened through GOAPs portal online application dates vary each year due to pandemic

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to further do PhD so i choose to to mtech from iit bhu and then will do PhD from this iit only.The teachers here are very good. They are very good at their work.They are qualified mostly Ph.D. The teaching quality here is good. But if you compare this with other higher IITs I think teaching quality goes to average. Classes are held regularly but for some subjects there may be no classes sometimes. But this does not happen regularly. But I must say that teaching quality here should be improved. Teacher student ratio here is 22:1 against 10:1 which should be. But even IIT bombay has the ratio of 14:1 which is also not so good.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Emerson,c motive,fuel cell energies etc come for intership here.Mainly internship are for those who want to go in R and D feild.As many students of mtech either go for PhD or do certain job in core companies

Placement Experience :

We Mtech students are eligible from 3rd semester for our on campus placements The package ranges between Rs. 6 Lacs Per Annum to Rs. 12 Lakhs Per Annum. The companies like EXL, Ola and ZS visited for the campus placement.Placement of this college is good about 67% of M.Tech students gets placed with average of 6-8 Lacs per annum. My senior got placed in Mercedes this year with a package of 8 Lacs. There is a placement cell for this which facilitates the process of placement for students and it is working very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees is around 70k for whole 2 years. Return of investment is too good here as you get iit tag. scholarship is given to reserved category students on the basis of their income.Stipend is there for us from 2nd year that is 13k per month and we have to take certain substitute classes of Teachers.

Campus Life :

Lots of events are organized here among them some major events are SPARDHA which is a sporting event.Student all across the colleges from india comes here to participate in this prestigious event.KASHIYATRA is the other major event here.Every year celebrity come to kashiyatra event.Last year Admit Trivedi came in this college.We have Wi-Fi in our college which works very good.Campus is very beautiful and we have good Grounds.

Campus placement like 2 months summer intern, 6 months intern + full time can be offered by companies, Most student get full time opportunity through 2 month summer intern Students having offer for intern are eligible for full time also since cahncea of ppo is not consider as their offer Sometimes offer revoked student get additional support for next one year through college for placement, student getting offer for package can again apply for 2x offer if new company visit for twice the offer Generally package are within 15-20 lpa for ece, cse and electrical student and psu also visit for offer direct through interview so many opportunity are given to student than expected

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS OF IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on.
