IIT Bhubaneswar

Remarks :

I chose IIT Bhubaneswar as my first choice because I wanted to enrol to an institution with a strong placement record and high educational standards, and IIT Bhubaneswar perfectly meets my criteria because it also fosters startup ideas and businesses. The applicant completed an application form on the college's website and paid a $300 application fee. I passed GATE with flying colours and met the college cutoff requirements, therefore I was shortlisted and invited to the GD and PI rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college's curriculum is particularly participatory and engineering-oriented. The college's curriculum aids us in fully comprehending the concepts of coding and computer programming. The programme includes a mix of engineering and management principles to help us understand the corporate working environment. The college's faculty is well-known for their innovative teaching approaches. The professors are professional and know how to explain subjects clearly, and their teaching methods are excellent and dynamic. We are adequately connected in the class and aware of the newest technical advances in the industry because of the faculty and our involvement in the class.

Placement Experience :

The college's placement criteria are well-known among India's IITs, and IIT Bhubaneswar is well-known for its placement achievements and packages. Every year, the college is capable of maintaining a 100% placement rate, with the greatest placement offers reaching 58 LPA and the average wage package being around 20 LPA. As compared to other universities of its level, the college's ROI is excellent. Some of the organisations who visited our campus during the college placement drive included Jaguar Land Rover, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Tata Steel, and others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In comparison to its peers, the college cost is fairly reasonable. For its M.Tech degree, the total course fee is roughly 60000. The college also offers scholarships to SC/ST students through a variety of programmes, including merit-based scholarships, stipend/financial assistance. Visit the college's official website to learn more about eligibility.

Campus Life :

The college's campus life is quite peaceful and welcoming. Seniors in college are really cooperative and pleasant. The Wisssinere is a college technical fest where we can show off our coding and technical skills, while Ashwadhmadha is a sports festival with a variety of sports competitions and activities. It is one of the best events for sports fans. The institution also brings in a lot of guest lecturers to keep us up to date on the newest industry advances, which is a great learning opportunity for us. The college library houses a number of best-selling books from around the world, as well as a number of publications relating to our sector.

Placements in IIT Bhubaneswar are decent enough. In SMMME, companies like applied materials are frequent recruiters. Professors help to get placed in companies like tata steel and other such metallurgical companies through their excellent network and references.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course was easy for most of the cases or times, but felt some difficulties in some subjects like NANO, topics like surface plasmon resonance, etc. Timings are good and feasible, you'll get a lot of free time for whatever you want to do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I believed there was a good future for the EE which inspired me to apply for this course. When Our faculty focuses on subject they would also teach us along with the real time benefits.Difficulty of the exam varies with corresponding subject and respective faculty with mid sem and end sem exams at 2months

Course Curriculum Overview:

I must say the curriculum is relevant to the course here for mtech cse. All the different subjects hold its own importance according to the course. But I didn't like the teaching methods of faculties here. Sometimes it feels like PPT presentation class. There are two exams in one semester. Mid Sem Exam and End Sem Exam and they both are pretty much normal not too difficult.

Remarks:

College management is quite helpful and student friendly. One is never harassed by college management. All the Deans are very polite and ever ready to solve students problem. The only lacuna is that being a college of 60 years old, the infrastructure is not that huge that one expected it to be. At last, I won't say that it is the best college to study engineering, but will definitely say that its a good place to study and one won't regret it.
