OUAT Review

Remarks :

I felt that OUAT would be the best place for me to complete my agriculture engineering program. I have to fill the admission form from the college website and have to submit the form online using the SBI website to pay an amount of 1000 as an application fee. The college also has collaboration from the top universities like IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi and the college is ranked among the top 100 best institutes of India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum follows all the latest industrial regulation make us aware of all kinds of modern technique and fundamentals of farming. The curriculum covers all the topics like Matrices, Rank of a matrix, Solutions of system of linear equations, Laplace Transformations, Frobenius Series Solution very deeply and correctly. The faculty are also highly qualified. The guest faculty from IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi visit our campus for the guest lectures which is a very good learning experience for us. The faculty have completed their PhD degree from the top universities of India.

Internships Opportunities :

Through the college RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience) we get an opportunity to talk to the local farmers and learn about the farming hurdles and technology about soil fertility. During the conversation with the farmers, we get to learn lots of things that probably we cannot learn through our academics. It was really a very good experience for us.

Placement Experience :

The college record for the placement is 75-85% because most of us prefer to go for further studies or join farming. The college's highest annual packages ranges from 12-15 LPA and the average salary offer is around 7 LPA. The college placement committee members are well experienced and they also have industrial experience which is very helpful for us as they guide us during the college placement round.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college B.Tech fee is around 80k which is quite affordable and the college also provides placement the college's average salary offer is around 7 LPA which is a very good ROI. The college provides scholarships on a merit basis and state-funded and central funded scholarship programs are available.

Campus Life :

The college campus life is good. The college follows a no-ragging policy. The seniors are quite interactive and friendly. We get an opportunity to meet local farmers and help us to increase our farming knowledge. The college library is small but we can find all kinds of books that help us to enhance our knowledge and skills. The college infra is properly maintained and the campus is properly cleaned.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are available for sharing, triple, double and single accommodation. The rooms are highly cleaned and fully furnished. The hostel is properly cleaned. The hostel mess food quality is good. The hostel wardens are professional and the staff is properly trained and the hostel discipline is properly followed by every one of us. The common rooms have LCD TC and proper seating arrangements with table tennis, carrom and chess facility.

Placement Experience:

At our college, students usually start looking for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others visit the campus to hire students. The number of job offers varies each year. The highest and average salaries depend on the company and the job roles they offer. Not all students might get placed, but the college tries to help as many as possible. As for me, after getting my degree, I'll probably look for a job that matches my skills and interests. If that doesn't work out, I might consider further studies or gaining more experience through internships.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Several reputable companies visit, including names like TechCorp and Innovate Solutions, offering diverse roles. The highest package is around 10 LPA, while the average hovers around 5 LPA. Approximately 80% of students secure placements, showcasing the college's commitment to fostering employability. For more comprehensive information on the companies that visit, you can explore the details provided on the official placement page: [Placement Details](https://autonomous.gift.edu.in/placement/). As for my plans, I aim to explore opportunities aligned with my field of study, seeking a role that allows for continuous learning and professional growth. My plans after the degree is to hold a good job placing myself as being capable enough to get placed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because now days this course is so demandable and this course is very popular in our collage. There no of 60+ faculties are available and no of students will 3000+ in various streams. All the facilities are highly educated and experienced. There are 2semisters in a year. One is odd semister and second one is even semister. And the examination is very strict process.
