Remarks :

The IIT BHU M.tech program is really very affordable and the colleges are among the top 185 best engineering colleges of India. After clearing the GATE exam I applied for the college admission from the college's official website as I was able to meet the college cutoff criteria. After getting shortlisted on the basis of my GATE and the academic score was invited for GD and PI rounds which also I cleared and I was given admission to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was recently updated to include all the recent industrial changes and new norms. The curriculum of the college provides us with complete insight into the designing of mechanical systems and their component. The faculty of the college is not only of PhD standards but their teaching, methods ar every good they break down the complex subject into the very easy way so that we can easily understand it. The faculty is easily approachable to clear our doubts and they also help us to clear the concepts.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 37000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college has a very good internship program. The internship is a very good opportunity for us to learn about the corporate world and the internship work is the base for us to receive good packages during the time of placement. The internship stipends range from 25k to 65k.

Placement Experience :

IIT BHU is very popular for its placement standards as the college placement committee is very professional and the college placement and training committee train us before the college placement drive is organised the train us and conduct mock interviews, train us for GD and presentation rounds so that we can easily get through every round and receive good packages. The highest package was 55 LPA and the average package was 20 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In comparison to other top-ranked engineering colleges of India, the college fee is very reasonable and affordable the complete course fee is around 90k and the average salary package I around 20 lakh which is a really very good return on investments. Meri base scholarship schemes are available and scholarships for SC/STis also available. SC/ST hostel fee is also waived.

Campus Life :

The campus life of the college is good te college provides a very good environment for studies and research work activities. Technex is the college technical fest in which we are able to demonstrate our innovative ideas and design to show in front of the whole institute. The college library has many academic and non-academics books available and bestseller authors' books are also available. The college library also has many international journals that are very useful for us during our research activities.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is very good and at the price point of 8000, the hostel is worth it. The hostel mess food quality is good. The rooms and bathrooms are clean regularly. The wardens are very professional. the hotel has 24 hours of tight security. Power and water supply are 24 hours available. SC/ST category hostel fee is waived. The hostel rooms are available with beds, study tables and almirahs for every one of us. The hostel has all kinds of modern and basic facilities for us.

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS OF IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on.
