IIT Bhubaneswar

Remarks :

I was able to pass the GATE exam at IIT Bhubaneswar. My priorities were solid placement and high academic standards. IIT Bhubaneswar was my first choice because of the excellent placement and the college's support for start-ups, including the establishment of a start-up centre on campus, which drew my attention and will enable us to develop valuable skills. To be admitted to IIT Bhubaneswar, I must pass the GATE exam with a minimum score of 60%, followed by a written test and a PI round. I must obtain an admission form from the college's official website and pay a cost of Rs. 300/- for the application form.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college's curriculum adheres to the most recent industry norms and standards. The curriculum is well-aligned with real-life situations. The curriculum includes a mix of theory and hands-on experience. The curriculum assists us in comprehending the significance of technology and its impact on industry and society. The instructor is Ph.D.-level and has industry experience, which is quite beneficial to us. The faculty encourages and pushes us to participate in extracurricular activities because they believe that our overall personality development is critical. The faculty members are experts in their fields.

Placement Experience :

The college boasts a 100% placement rate. The placement is in accordance with the criteria of the IITs. The placement committee is quite helpful and cooperative, and they thoroughly guide us through each round of placement. Our batch's highest package was approximately 45 LPA, while the average package was around 14 LPA. During the placement drive, companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, GE India, Honeywell, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, L&T, Tata Steel, and others came to our campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I was not fortunate enough to receive a scholarship, thus I had pay the full tuition which was 55,000 per year. The college offers merit-based scholarships to SC/ST/PWD students. Visit the college's official website to learn more about the scholarship programme and the eligibility requirements.

Campus Life :

Seniors and college personnel are extremely helpful and pleasant. College life is straightforward and enjoyable. Alma Fest is a college cultural fest, Wisssinere is a college Tech Fest, E-Summit is a college entrepreneurship fest, Ashwadhmadha is a college sports fest, and Food Fest is a college food fest. A cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, and other sports facilities are available at the college.

Placements in IIT Bhubaneswar are decent enough. In SMMME, companies like applied materials are frequent recruiters. Professors help to get placed in companies like tata steel and other such metallurgical companies through their excellent network and references.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course was easy for most of the cases or times, but felt some difficulties in some subjects like NANO, topics like surface plasmon resonance, etc. Timings are good and feasible, you'll get a lot of free time for whatever you want to do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I believed there was a good future for the EE which inspired me to apply for this course. When Our faculty focuses on subject they would also teach us along with the real time benefits.Difficulty of the exam varies with corresponding subject and respective faculty with mid sem and end sem exams at 2months

Course Curriculum Overview:

I must say the curriculum is relevant to the course here for mtech cse. All the different subjects hold its own importance according to the course. But I didn't like the teaching methods of faculties here. Sometimes it feels like PPT presentation class. There are two exams in one semester. Mid Sem Exam and End Sem Exam and they both are pretty much normal not too difficult.

Remarks:

College management is quite helpful and student friendly. One is never harassed by college management. All the Deans are very polite and ever ready to solve students problem. The only lacuna is that being a college of 60 years old, the infrastructure is not that huge that one expected it to be. At last, I won't say that it is the best college to study engineering, but will definitely say that its a good place to study and one won't regret it.
