Remarks :

I prepared day and night for the entrance examination of this course in IIT Kharagpur. The whole process of application and registration fee was done online. The registration fee was Rs. 400. There are three examinations that one needs to clear to secure admission into this course - JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). I faced no difficulty while applying to this institute and the entire process was done smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A total of 98 credits are required at the end of the course. Practicals, projects, and internships are the essence of this course. Students were also offered international internships. The strength of the students in the class was kept to a minimum since practical subjects are taught in an easier manner. Professors also focused more on our drawings and creativity since that would help more in our professional lives.

Course Fees : INR 82700 per year

Placement Experience :

The institute invites top companies for placements every year on the campus. 91% of the students were placed in my batch. ABG Shipyard Limited SBC Electronic Data Processing India Pvt. Ltd. American Reprographics Impetus Infotech (India) Pvt. Ltd. Were the top companies that picked up students from the course. Highest CTC was Rs. 2.4 CPA which also included many international offers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships and Banking assistance are an options for the student if she/he is in need of one. Scholarships provided by the institute are, Inspire Scholarship, Free Mess and Pocket Allowance, My Imprint Special Assistance, Organizational Scholarships & Fellowships, and Alumni Scholarships & Awards. Banking assistance can be availed from nationalized banks present on the campus.

Campus Life :

Kshitij, the annual Techno-Management Fest was my favorite event of IIT. I personally loved and enjoyed my campus life. Our department also organized various events from time to time. I used to participate in Kshitij every year as it helped me a lot in boosting my confidence and self-esteem. The infrastructure of the campus is also good. Classes and labs are huge and spacious.

My iit kharagpur

Placement Experience:

In my course from the 9th semester, student are eligible for campus placements. The companies that are coming in iit kharagpur are Google,microsoft etcin recent year there are total of 1430 offers came in iit kharagpur.the highest package for the year 2023-24 is 1 crore 64 lakhs to the student of the Department of Computer Science and engineering. about 80 to 90 percent of the student get placed every year in iit kharagpur if there is no recession. My plans after getting my degree is to take either placement or preparation for upsc.

Placement Experience:

Being in architecture department, placement begins from ending 4th year and continue to 5th year students can apply for it. There is compulsory internship as well that is mandatory to all 4rth year student. Companies like Google, Oracle and other big companies also do visit our campus even CEO of google is also from our college

IIT Kharagpur experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Arch course curriculum at IIT Kharagpur is very vast. Faculty:Student = 1:40 All faculties aka teachers have a very strong concreate knowledge about the subject, and their teaching method is top in the the country. Over a timespan of 4months, that is 1 Semester their are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem exam and finally 1 end sem exam. Its not that hard to pass the exam, all one needs is consistency.

Placement Experience:

Architecture is a 5yrs course. In 4th year 1st sem, internships are provided to everyone. It lasts for one semester only. Then by the end of 5th year, campusing is done. Everyone gets to sit for an interview and everyone is provided with jobs.

Placement Experience:

Architecture dept. Doesn't give placements opportunities. Most of the students go for higher studies. So most of the companies don't come for placements. As for other engineering courses, the placement is top notch.

Entrance Preview:

I gave NATA exam, I scored 120 out of 200, I opted for this particular college because i did not get chance in shibpur and jadavpur and all my options were open from other state, but due to expense I had to stay back and remained stuck with this hell hole.
