Remarks

Good placements and faculty. Its also one of the top ranked institutes of IP university. Faculty is quite good, qualified and approachable. Student to faculty ratio is also ok. Got admission through IPU CET(Common entrance test). I got a rank of around 6700 and was able to get Electronics and Communication branch in this college. But now there is no separate entrance test of IPU, admissions are done on basis on JEE mains examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is quite good, qualified and approachable. Student to faculty ratio is also ok. There are labs for effective practical learning. Term exams are held regularly at different centers of IP university and they are not so easy, not so difficult, and always relevant to syllabus.

Placements are good, one gets many opportunities of getting campus placement as many companies visit. I myself got placed in Accenture. In case of B. Tech. students become eligible from start of 7th semester for placements. Some of the companies visited are: Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Aon, Adobe, and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is reasonable as compared to other colleges' B. Tech. course and is to be paid annually. Financial assistance and scholarships are also provided. Placements are good, one gets many opportunities of getting campus placement as many companies visit. I myself got placed in Accenture.

Campus Life

College organizes its own fests and functions. Infrastructure is good and is being renovated now. It also has many different clubs like Rotaract(for social cause), Prakriti(for environmental cause), Art club, music club, etc. So overall campus and social life is good.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I choosed msit bcz it had good placements in cse/it n also infra is decent.. i applied to few other ipu clgs like bpit n mait... but msit felt better in vibe n crowd. didn’t get nsut or dtu bcz my rank was not that good.. missed cutoff by lil bit..
