Remarks :

The admission process was quite smooth in terms of registration to the final admission procedure. Students just have to look out for the dates of the IPU CET form release for their desired course and they have to fill all their basic details in it. After this, they will be getting emails for the confirmation of information and document submission. After all this application procedure and examination, aspirants have to secure a decent rank to get into this college. Students of Delhi are provided with relaxation in their ranks but students outside Delhi have to secure a good rank in order to get admission. Once you match the desired cutoff you have to pay Rs. 40,000 as part of the academic fee to secure your seat. And then get your provisional allotment letter and report the college at the given date.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BJMC is a three-year undergraduate degree programme in journalism and mass communication. Studying this course one gets to know about the role of media and journalism in society. Further students are also familiarised with Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing, TV, Radio and news production as well as film making. The student ratio is quite good in this institution as there are almost 60 students in each section, and to reduce the crowd stress the college provided the two batches morning and evening. Despite the batch distribution, the teaching faculty remains the same and the faculty is very supportive in terms of education and even in personal or professional problems. They are always ready to answer your queries.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are mostly provided by the professors of the college in various different firms. And annually a Summer Training Internship Programme is also released by the college to provide each and every student with good experience in the industry beforehand.

Placement Experience :

College placements are quite good in our college. Most students are placed in good companies like Byjus, Accenture, etc. The in-campus training mostly prepares students for the interview. Almost 70% of students get placed every year from the college. The highest salary offered was around 8L per annum and the average salary package revolves around 4-5L per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the college is fine in terms of this course. It charges around 3lakhs + for the full course. But it's worth it as the college provides with all the required things for practical studies like studios, cameras etc. The scholarship is provided to students who can not afford to pay the higher fees. On-campus placement offers are also provided to the students.

Campus Life :

College life at the campus is very comforting as well as happening. Various fests are regularly organized in the college premises of different courses such as Spandan-the media fest, Initio, tech fests, TEDx and many more. The library is always open for books assistance, students just need to have their library cards with them. Classrooms are fully equipped with modern teaching techniques and rooms have full air conditioning. Sports and extracurricular activities are available on campus. There are various societies in the college like Antarakshar the music society, 3.14 the dance society, Enactus Vips and many more.

Other Applied Colleges

Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini | BJMC

Because I always wanted to join VIPS for BJMC course. It's better than JIMS, Rohini

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall curriculum of the course is very student friendly and it's shaped around the development of the students. The curriculum has the subjects focusing on the real-world scenarios. For eg we study about new media, print, radio etc. There's always a scope of improvement but the course curriculum couldn't get more better. The exams are not that difficult and ample of time is given for preparation but the schedule does scare the students sometimes.
