Remarks :

The college has beautiful campus. Faculty are good. Syllabus structure is tough. As a whole it is a great experience to be IITIANS.

Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE ,Sc rank 612. This college is one of the best colleges in India. So I took this college.The branch is also belongs in the best branches.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is almost good. Some subject are also boring. But as a whole it syllabus is very much scientific. But this syllabus is tough as well. But l am loving it. Course structure is good as a whole.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes the college provide internship in great company like Google, Amazon, Facebook. It came in 2nd year. I am a 1st year student so I don't know anything else.

Placement Experience :

Very good job opportunity. It provides great campus placement in great company like Google, Amazon, Oracle,Facebook, Microsoft etc. In our branch average is around 14 lakh per annum. So on.. So it is a great opportunity for job. It also provides many amazing Indian placement.

College Events :

Techniche: Very big event for Technical field. Sprdha: sports meet in IIT. Alcheringa: India' s one of the biggest festival. Technothlon: Conducted by student body of IIT GUWAHATI. It is one of the biggest exam conducted by student body. Spirit, Udgam and many more events and activities and festival.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIT GUWAHATI offer loan in very low interest rate. So loan is very much accessible for students. And many scholarship awarded by college. Sc -st,Topper of branch etc many more.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is very less in btech. In our branch it is 18:1..a very low presence of girls. Partys are happened frequently. There is no rat race.All religions or present here. Here are no political party in campus. No Ragging is observed here. So it is a great experience.

Alumni/Alumna :

IIT GUWAHATI alumni frequently came in contact to us. There occur some video conference. Sometimes they came physically. And also sometime IIT GUWAHATI put a event of alumni interaction.

Exam Structure :

Exam are very frequent. There are 2 quizs and mid sem and end sem in only 4 month. Labs are 3 days in a week. So it is a very busy schedule. Exam are very frequent as it given by Institute. IIT GUWAHATI offer this frequent exam and lab to students. This course is exam oriented.

Admission :

I got admission by Jossa. Jab conduct this admission process. The administration is very good. l put this college as one of the best choice. And I got this via selection. I came Guwahati with parents.And got admitted into this college. This was almost hazard less experience.

Faculty :

Faculty are highly qualified. As it is IIT. But all of them can not teach very good. The tutor are also good. It is a great platform for all students. The teacher are good as a whole. So I like this place. The faculty is also friendly.And give time to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Life At IIT Guwahati

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
