Campus of CIT is good, examination are strict i love this

Dislikes

In placement, i don't like CIT because they don't provide any placements

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically Btech degree is for engineers so I took the decision in this field. the curriculum prepares us through the projects into real world applications. In CSE branch you can improve your skills. The frequency and timings of exams is 3 hours in end-term exams and 2 hours in mid-term exams and difficulties are moderate level.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Ntpc and iocl are the internships where we can take them. And we can take many internships in many places they offer. We make many projects for real-world applications and the outcomes are very helpful for real-world markets.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no tution fee in our institution. The complete cost of our education including such fees is total 47000 for ST/SC and for general 60k . NSP scholarship is the scholarship we can apply, and the amount is 45000. Campus employment i haven't undertaking.

Campus Life :

Ecstasy is the annual fest it happens in February month and techrachy is the technical fest ,it happens Oct/Nov month. There are 1lakh and more books in the library you can access it within id card. The faculty's are good I can say and technology in the classroom are pretty good. They have all kind of technology for teaching. There are many sports are offered like football basketball cricket and many more.. There are many clubs like coding club, robotics clubs and many more where students join .

Hostel Facilities :

There are two bed in the room and lights table wardrobe for each student they provide. There meals quality is not much good but eatable. You can register in cit.ac.in web for hostel. There are many pg for boys and girls outside the campus in 10-20m distance.

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

Here courses are Btech Mtech Bdesign. you should pass the entrance then you can be eligible for courses. You should visit the CIT website CIT.ac.in, you can get information about this all. ST and SC will get reservation benefits in addmission and counselling. The exams are conducted by CIT and timings are basically 3 hours and difficulties are moderate level. For admission, you should visit the CIT campus in the addmission cell

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio 5:8 . It is not much impact or not too good impacts our learning. The faculty's are good but some teacher's mentorship are not good. I can't interact too much with teachers but when I get doubt I say to the teachers

It's a good college

You will get a campus placement in the uth semester and you have social, academic and industrial internships from college. The companies that visit are mentioned in the college website as it changes every year. Highest package is 8lpa that was provided in the year 2021. This year the highest package is 5lpa

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.

Placement Experience:

Previously there was no placement opportunity, but now things have evolved, and now there are campus placements as well. The placement cell coordinators, along with the teachers, work hard to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
