Remarks

Admission was done through IPU CET and then there was online choice filling and then multiple rounds of counseling. All the details are available on the IPU websites. The admission process could be made more efficient if there were separate portals for applying to different colleges within the same University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Sessional exams occurred once every semester and they were very of moderate level. The semester-end exams were very difficult but most of the questions got repeated from previous years so if you have had thorough practice, then it won't be that difficult to score well in those exams.

Internships Opportunities

I personally did not opt for an internship through the college. Although the college did organize internship fairs every few months to give chances to new students to work in good companies as interns.

Placement Experience

Companies arrive for campus placement from 6th semester. I personally got placed in ZS Associates which is a reputed Business Consultancy Firm. I plan to work there after completing my degree. The college has a 100% placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are nominal, it's about 1.1 lakh per year, which amounts to almost 55-56K per semester which is OK for a semi-government institution. The college also provides study materials, notes, and even semester books free of cost to all the students.

Campus Life

There are several fests like Genesis, Enva which were conducted. The classrooms are big and spacious and can accommodate 50-60 students. There are clubs in the college like Prakriti, Inception Wave, Sports Club, IOSD, TechSoc, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I choosed msit bcz it had good placements in cse/it n also infra is decent.. i applied to few other ipu clgs like bpit n mait... but msit felt better in vibe n crowd. didn’t get nsut or dtu bcz my rank was not that good.. missed cutoff by lil bit.. We get admissions on the basis of JEE main Rank, cutoff for my particular course for around 70k during 2021 for the IT branch.
