Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is good M.tech and Phd course also available. You can get admission right after class 10 . Modular system : Base Module(class 12) and the Degree module (Btech), Mtech and Msc course also available.

Placement Experience :

Placement is average. For mechanical students Oil, Ashai, PowerGrid etc comes. Avg package:-3-4 lakh p.a It companies like Tech Mahindra, wipro, Zaloni etc comes for pool drive. Normally company comes in Nearby NIT and at guwahati.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very feasible. Since it is centrally funded and north east students are taken into consideration. Admission fee- maximum 5000, Hostel fee- maximum 10000 per semester for B.tech students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No loan facilities. Because college fees are very cheap. Scholarship are provided to north eastern students by various schemes like IshanUday, and state scholarships.

Faculty :

Faculties are well qualified. There are atleast 3-4 Professor in each branch. Faculties are very supportive and experienced. Especially Civil Branch Faculties are good. Faculties are also updated with latest technologies and softwares. Lots of faculties are from south India and northern part.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is average, as the location is remote only a limited number of companies visit for placement. - From seventh sem students become eligible for campus placements. - The highest package offered till now for on campus is 19lpa by C-Dot and average package is 8lpa. - Students getting placed differs from branch to branch , in cse almost every students gets placed who are eligible. - Also i am planning for M.tech if i do not get a good placement.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh - An Honest Overview

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placements if they dont have a backlog as many companies do not allow arrays in the semester. The companies visited are Deloitte , Alstom , HCL , TCS etc. Almost 100 percent students are placed in my college I would join an MNC after getting a degree

The placements are good so far and every year at least 80% of students get placed and the companies that come to give placements are mostly core companies. The average package every year is 8LPA. So I do have a plan to sit on placement.

Remarks:

It is the best technical College in our state and the course I took was good for developments in our state as it is an agriculture based state. Students from various parts of North East come here through entrance. Seats are there for all India students too.So NERIST is full of diversity in culture,caste and race.It provides B.tech,B.sc,MBA, M.tech,M.sc,P.hd program.The course I took was Agricultural Engineering.It was a much needed course in our state which directly depended its economy in agriculture.
