Remarks

I have applied for the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. There is a simple criterion for admission, U have to get a minimum rank of 70k(approx) to take admission in CSE and around 3-4lac for EEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this course because of my Interest in Electrical. Approx 60 students in a class. Almost Every teacher has qualified Gate, NET or Did MTech or Ph.D.There is a sessional almost 2 months after the starting of the semester. and end-term after 6mnth. Paper is so easy u have cleared the exam by just learning one day before the exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Flipkart, Adobe visited our college for an internship.But that is only for Girls not for boys. As such companies don't come in 3rd for the intern but in 4th yr, many companies like amazon visit our cllg for internships

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th sem. There are many companies like Amazon, Ixagio, ZS, and mass recruiter visit our cllg .The highest package offered is around 20-25lac. The average is 6lac. almost 90% of students get placed in a mass recruiter.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is A fee of 1.35lac per year and if u opt for a hostel then 84k for that in which 10k is refunded when the session is over. Scholarship provided by Aicte in our calling and That also have a stipend of around 10k per month

Campus Life

Annual fest is held every year. And there are plenty of books available in our college library.Our cllg also provide sports activities but cllg size os not too good so if u have interest in sports then opt for some other cllg

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is affordable as compared to other colleges in Delhi. But there is a very small room provided and mess food is not too good but it is OK . The registration process is simple, fill a form and get.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.
