Remarks :

I have done my post graduation from NIT Hamirpur Later one of my senior suggested me to join PhD program in Power amplifier Design & modeling under the same professor. My whole process of admission has done online & it was quite easy, because nobody wants to run here there for reasons.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There was no exam for me & I selected based on interview performance & post graduation pointer. At present I am working under professor Karun Rawat and he has expertise in Power amplifier design & modeling and their measurements.

Internships Opportunities :

For PHD student there are very less internship opportunities, but based on his/her supervisors/guides will they can also go for internship for 6 months.

Placement Experience :

For BTech and MTech students there are bunch of opportunities, the one who is in company criteria i.e. 6.5 or 7 CGPA, from them 90% of people are getting the jobs. Specifically for PhD student, he/she will get good job based on his/her quality of research.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In first semester I paid 52000 it included the medical insurance and different mess charges etc. In consecutive semester PhD student needs to pay 37000 but due to covid we were not in college so paid we 15000 in present semester

Campus Life :

As I am a PhD student I am not involved with any club but I know that BTech & MTech students are working in the clubs very proactively. Campus is very Old & one of the best in IITs. The Area near the main building & ground Library they have maintained very nicely.

Hostel Facilities :

I stayed in one of the old hostel in IIT Roorkee that's Cautley Bahwan, one of the best thing about Cautley Bhawan is that canteen facility, there canteen will be open for entire night, but due to covid they have reduced the timing.

Admission :

I faced the online interview during covid time, there were 6 panel members & each one of them asked me basic to advanced level questions and answered near about 80% of questions. They are checking for confidence & depth of knowledge level even if you don't answer 2-3 question that is completely fine.

Placement Experience:

The campus does provide placement opportunities for the students. For MBA students from the 3rd sem become eligible for sitting in placements. Companies for finance, marketing, and HR specialization frequently conduct placement drives on the campus. However, for Business Analytics the frequency is less compared to others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my love for computer and programming. The Faculty student ratio is somewhat around 1:8. Most of the Faculty members have either PhD or masters degree in their field. The teaching method according to me is ok but the best teaching the college do is of C language. If you are a beginner too, the faculty members will teach you C in a very simple way, so that You will grasp it very well. The end exams are conducted every 6 month along with one mid terms exams. Exams are held in two ways- Practicals exams and theory exams. The exams difficulty level is above moderate.
