Remarks

Since I passed my 12th in 2017, I gave IPU CET for admission in the B.Tech program. The exam was in an offline mode, wherein the question paper had MCQ's and we had to mark those answers in the OMR sheet. After this, our results were declared on the online portal of IPU when we have to give our Roll number which we were allotted during the registration of IPU CET. After the results announcement, we had to fill forms for admission in which there were different rounds of admission. Based on the cutoff of a particular round, we were allotted colleges based on our ranks and scores. Apart from this, there were separate spot counseling rounds held after the initial rounds of college allocation were complete. In the spot counseling, we were asked to be present in the main branch of the IPU i.e. USICT Dwarka, with important documents, in order to get admission in colleges in which a certain amount of seats were left vacant.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course in which I took admission was B.Tech Information Technology. I chose this course because of my interest in Software engineering (although the branch does not matter if you want to be a software developer). The faculty over here is also supportive and knowledgeable which helps you a long way. Most of the faculty holds PhD degrees in their respective domains. The term exams were timely which are held in December and May, semester-wise.

Placement Experience

4

From the 5th and 6th semesters, all the students are eligible for placements. There are various companies that come to college for placements like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. The placement records of the colleges are also good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was quite transparent and you can see what all services you are paying for. The overall cost for 4 years B. Tech program is around 4.7 Lacs. Since I didn't enroll for any scholarships, I do not have many insights about the scholarships provided, but I know that there were some scholarships because there were notices which were being put up in colleges regarding them.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is overall good. You get to make new friends and hang out with them outside the college during your breaks. Since there is a new building which is being made currently, so right now there is some construction work which is being carried out. The library is also very silent and has a lot of books in it in each and every domain. The classrooms have all the basic amenities which should be present in an ideal classroom. There are many social groups or societies in the college. These include tech, debating, drama, music, singing etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
